These are not the only way to go my friends. I have a set of Lazrus hybrids, 2-PW,they are great when hit halfway good. I missed my irons and felt better with irons for scoring clubs 7 down. I recently switched to a Full set of Adams V3 clubs 2,3,4,5,6 traditional hybrids, more like a wood. The 7-GW are more like an iron, but also hybrid clubs. These are the clubs for me. At 65, I finally switched to a senior flex, even with my swing speed on the faster end for my age. I drive 250 and straight usually.

Next time ask for volunteers I'm sure plenty of us "seniors" would be happy to do a real world test on this. Slowing your nice fluid swing to 70MPH is a far cry from our inability to get the club back very far and thus our 70 MPH will more than likely have a much lower Smash factor than yours but thanks for the video ...I'm 70 and looking for answers to losing yardage ...fast!

Great review. Very helpful. I have the Z82 and I’m thinking about the G80. Every feature is amazing and on approach shots I think I’ll just use the G80 to target the center of the green. THANKS!

Your swing speed seems to slow for DG 105 Not the best comparison when your spin rate is half what it should be

Here I am looking at these now that have depreciated. Hard to pick between the G425 driver/fairway/iron and Sim 2 driver/fairway/iron - 16 handicap here.

SIM2 MAX owner here with a 9 hcp. So easy to hit and accurate

I have the Cobra T Rail and my distance and accuracy both improved a lot. I am 78 years old and play once a week. I do swing slow and my 7 iron is good for 150 yards.

What handi cap range are these for? I’m 66 been out of golf playing for about 8 years 9 hcp was my best. Slow swing speed now not in shape

I’ve got a set of Launch pad 2 irons with senior graphite shafts that I absolutely love…easiest irons I’ve ever hit for sure 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Somehow the golf professionals and club makers always seem to mix two things. Slow swing and poor swing or poor ball contact. As you get older, your swing definitely slows down. But does this automatically make your ball contact worse? So why always forgiving irons? Shouldn't there be something like blades that were just built for slower swing?

The mizuno 5 Iron shaft is too soft or too light for you.Your timing appears to be different to the tm. I can also see on this vid that you are trying to force the Mizzy. I suggest a heavier shaft in the mizzy..Great vid.

I like the reviews on the Wilson launchpad. I'm leaning towards the new Cleveland Halo set. Tough decision I've been all over the place. First it was the t rails then I was interested in the launch pads now the Halo 2 really caught my eye.

Do you really want to be hitting a 7i 200 yards? It out preformed the other clubs and went the distance it should have

Just bought a set of 2021 T rails waiting for them to arrive

I've only done it a few times and it's the best feeling! The 18th at my home course isn't long, but requires an extremely accurate tee shot to have any chance at the green, and the nerves standing on that tee are intense.

With a swing like yours I can't take anything you say seriously. You should not be review and giving advise on golf clubs PERIOD !!

I just bought these DCBs and they are amazing. Beforehand, I watched a bunch of DCB reviews, and you were the only one I saw that discussed the grip. Let me say that the z-grip is the best iron grip I have ever played with. It feels so incredibly comfortable.

From your review the iron was getting consistent numbers. Golf’s about consistency not distance. As long as you know your numbers who cares that you can’t hit the 7 iron 180 yds it was never design to be a distance club. It’s a mid iron scoring club.

I'm disappointed in this comparison. Get an actual senior to perform the test. I bought the Wilson LP set and they are very good clubs. I'm 66 and only had these clubs a couple months. Hitting them between 65-70mph and getting much higher height then you were getting and much higher spin rate. Can't see this comparison as very useful to be honest. I felt you were biased right off the bat as soon as you determined you didn't like the looks and sound. I don't know why you guys get so hung up on sound or looks...

What irons are currently in your bag and the shaft?

I am a 73 year old man and I tried the T rails. I never had a problem getting the ball in the air. My problem with them is that they went high and short. I sold them and ordered a set of Srixon ZX 5 irons. Waiting for them to come in. In the meantime I am using my old Wilson Ci 9 irons.

If you want to simulate the swing of those of us looking at UGI clubs, you should test them by striking the ball a 1/4" left, 1/4" right, 1/4" high, 1/4" low and with the face open & closed by 5 or 10 degrees. If I could hit the ball in the sweet spot & square, I wouldn't need UGI clubs... 😛

I could score better with the zx5 all day. Better distance control. Usually direction is swing and or shaft. Former t200 owner. Current zx5 and i525. Sx5 pushed out 525 only and only thin shots retain exact same performance i525 losing too much

Where the heck did you find them for $850 ? Cheapest now in 23 is $799 with iron shafts and $899 with graphite and now the ping is the same exact price. So with that in mind would you change your mind haha

Your swing looks to only produce 180 yards max with the Srixon 5 iron , not very much balance and a choppy swing.

I have never seen anyone at 4K spin with a pitching wedge. Spin numbers cannot be correct. Usually are off on mats. As for the Blueprints, it may look small but it’s really one of the easiest to hit muscle backs out there with the heel and toe weights. Just a fantastic iron. But I would only combo with the i230 or i59.
