    Welcome to my TH-cam Channel Golf Blog! My name is Matt Williams. I'm an amateur golfer that has only been playing golf consistently for a few years now. Last year I was about an 18 handicap. I was a 16 handicap to start 2020, and now am down to an 8.7. I started this golf channel for a variety of reasons. 1.) To show viewers what I am doing and working on as I continue my quest to hopefully become a scratch golfer one day. 2.) To review golf clubs/equipment to give people a club review from an amatuer mid-handicap perspective. 3.) To share my ever-growing passion for this beautiful game we call golf. 4.) To just have a ton of fun on the golf course! I sure hope you find all my content useful, helpful, but most of all..... entertaining!

    I ordered my T100 irons. Can’t wait to get them. I got fit indoors so haven’t hit them outside yet. My irons I currently play are 20 year old titleist 762 which I love. In my fitting the AMT black produced best results so went with them. Hoping they are right. I know they are a bit lighter. I’m a scratch but I’m 42 and the lighter club may help. Hoping the simulator is accurate and I yield same results on course.

      Oh man, if you’re a scratch and only 42, I bet you’re gonna love the T100’s. I’m an 8, and I loved them. I don’t think I quite have the skill level to game them, but I loved them. I will say, my experience tells me that simulator distances are always different than your on-course distances. Meaning the simulator distances are a touch longer usually. That said, I’m sure you’re going to thoroughly enjoy the T100’s and be very glad you put them in your bag!

    Titleist isn’t the club for those looking to get “distance” out of their clubs.. it’s a players product, I’ve played a little bit of everything out there. If you’re looking for consistent distance and a ton of feel, play Titleist. For distance or anything else LOL , play Taylormade 👌🏼

    No way would I consider the T100. I'm a 5 index and it's just not forgiving enough. T200 would be better, but I would consider the JPX921 Forged and P770's more forgiving that the T200's. You should look at Srixon Z7.

      It’s funny. You’ve mentioned clubs I have reviewed or will review. Yeah, I don’t know if you made it to the end summary on the video, but I specifically mentioned that I actually thought it would be irresponsible of me to even try to play the T100’s. I just don’t have a developed enough swing to pull them off. Thanks for the feedback!

      @@MattWilliamsGolf Yeah, I knew you had reviewed those clubs. That why I mentioned them. I think you're better off picking the 921 Forged or the P770's for your new irons. You couldn't go wrong with those two sets.

      @@michaeldejesus Well the P770 is the leader by a large margin. But I’m also stoked for all the stuff coming out 2021. So, we’ll see.

      Have you even tried them before knowing you can’t use them? I find it weird a lot of golfers are so adamant they can’t play blades/players irons before even trying them.

    Don’t they make a strong lofted model?

    • @MattWilliamsGolf
      @MattWilliamsGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes.... stronger anyways. I’ll be testing more Titleist irons soon! Stay tuned! (And subscribe so you won’t miss it.)

    More loft, slower ball speed
