    At last someone who realizes we all don't hit the ball like a pro when doing club reviews.

      Thanks Johnny! You get it. Trying to give y’all a perspective, analysis, and results of someone with more “average” swing mechanics.

    You went a little "tommy boy" at 28:55, lol! Enjoyed the review, keep it up! 12 handicapper here and just pressed submit payment on my new T200 irons.

    You said it clubs are subjective.. I just purchased the JPX21 Forged after testing the Titleist T200 as well as many others .. loved the forged and performed well for me. T200 were not good for me feel is bad and sound is terrible IMO. But that’s why golf clubs are specific to every golfer. Cool to see a PNW TH-camr golfer on here.

      That’s funny. I also have a set of the 921 Forged, but have elected not to game them. If you saw my review, when I tested them, I absolutely loved them. I will agree that sound on the T200 wasn’t great. But feel for me was just fine. I wouldn’t call the feel “out of this world”, but fine. The performance however, is what really impressed me. Better distance than the 921, and the same if not better spin. The key difference between how these irons come “out of the box” is lie angle. And if the Mizuno lie angle was something that suited you well, then it’s very possible that the T200 lie angle would need to be adjusted for you. Thanks for the support Marc!!!!

    I was a 11 handicap 5 years ago and am going to start playing again. I've ordered the T200's in the hope I will be able to play them with some practice, but also from handicap 10 and down.

      I think these could work out for you very well. Check back in later and let me know!

    Nice review. I was a 18 handicap 2 years ago, got fitted for Titleist AP1’s and as of this year, I’m a 7 handicap. (Lessons, practice and play). Have recently decided to go with the T 200’s, seemed like the logical next step based on my progress. I ordered them using the same specs as before....which are perfect for my size (6’3) and swing.
    Hoping these will turn out to be just as good as I’ve heard and read.

      If you get anything like the results I got when testing them, I think you will be thrilled!

    I watched your review on p770 and apexpro21. I dont see same excitement compared to your review on the T200. Your excitement on T200 is very high and natural. Same feeling here....hahaha. Hitting apexpro 21 is also an excitement. But T200 is sooo amazing. However, lookwise, apex pro 21 is much prettier. Still cant decide on these two clubs....

    Hi mate,
    I tested the t200 also,didn't go to good for me, ordered the p770 looking forward to receiving them,can't wait to get back out on the course as UK golf courses are closed till march😭

    • @MattWilliamsGolf
      @MattWilliamsGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there Paul. Yeah, there is a distinct difference between testing things on the range versus how the clubs perform on the golf course. Right now the two irons (P770 and T200) are essentially tied for me based on their performance. That said, if I was forced to choose one today, I would still say P770. It’s such a sad state of things especially for those of you in the UK, not being able to play out on the course. I’m rooting for you folks to get back out there as soon as possible!

      As much as I want to play the P770 because of its looks, I found apex pro 21 to be much more consistent and forgiving. (Probably because of the offset neck on the head of apex pro 21). However, T200 is an awesome club. Consistency is also the keyword on T200. But, in terms of design appearance, P770 dan Apex pro 21 still wins my heart.

    Why not show the numbers? Spin rate? Launch ?

    How would you compare these to the 921 Forged?

    • @MattWilliamsGolf
      @MattWilliamsGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a tough one. Because while I really like the 921 Forged, and I even have a set, I really need to adjust the lie angle in order to really get the best performance out of them. Whereas the T200’s are perfect for me in their fairly standard settings. The 921 Forged are 1 degree weaker, so I get better distance numbers from the T200. However, the way Titleist has designed the T200’s, I’m still able to achieve high loft with a great decent angle, and still very good spin. I also feel the T200 is more forgiving. The 921 Forged does have better or softer feel. So for me, the T200’s outperform the 921 Forged, and it’s not even very close. That all said, golf clubs are just so specific and unique to the golfer. What works for one golfer, might not be best for another. But if you were asking me to recommend one over the other, I would suggest Titleist T200.

    Did you mention what shafts you were using in this review?

    • @MattWilliamsGolf
      @MattWilliamsGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Bill. I coulda sworn I said it somewhere in the video. But as I skimmed quickly back through it, I couldn’t find it. I’m 90% certain that it was a Dynamic Gold. I just can’t remember the weight. I want to say 120, but it could have been 105. I want to say 120. My apologies I can’t remember for sure.

    • @billybastar4022

      @@MattWilliamsGolf thank you. You might want to address the spin number through a shaft update after you pick the head.

    • @MattWilliamsGolf
      @MattWilliamsGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@billybastar4022 Yeah. Most of it is swing more than shaft. Shaft plays a real big part, but when my swing is on, I get fantastic spin numbers. I have a meeting video coming out today or tomorrow that shows with clubs like P770 and Apex Pro ‘21, that I can consistently generate 5500-6000 RPM. In fact, I even hit 7000 a few times with Apex Pro. It’s all about consistently improving that swing, particularly minimizing the backswing.

    To be honest, an 8 handicap isn’t average.. that’s definitely better than most people you come across at the average golf course

      Haha, I did like them very much! And with regards to my favorite? Well, they’re still in the running, but not the leader in the clubhouse for the moment. Here’s another test vs the P770 and ZX5: th-cam.com/video/xvUxNCn1pow/w-d-xo.html
