My problem is that Scav raids use 99% gpu and pmc raids use about 70% ending up with less performance and micro stuttering. I have tried endless settings in game in windows in nvidia and it's all the same, even reinstalled the system . Pmc always about 20 fps less.

Do you recommend basically setting the affinity for every single process that isn't the game you're playing to core 1 ? Cpu 0 and 1. For 8 hyperthreaded cores - cpu 2-15 assigned to game - cpu 0,1 assigned to everything else ?

my cpu is bad compared to my GTX 1060 6 GB, should i use high graphics or low ?

This is going to be a late reaction/reply to a video that was published 10 months ago but another problem that mip streaming caused was that the item pictures ex.(Guns, junk, meds or any item really) wasn't loading for me. It kept on circling like a youtube video trying to load. I did try everything to solve it from clearing cache to deleting logs or even a integrity check. This was a huge problem as im new to Tarkov and i can't understand what im looking at just by names if i dont see the pictures. When modding a gun with every single part change it started the loading process again which almost took 5 minutes to load. When i turned off mip streaming, it suddenly started to finally load the images. I think it has something to do with eating up your read/write.

The X3d variants have been proven to out preform every cpu on the market for tarkov and alot of games because of its memory cache. Any x3d will net you huge frames. I just upgraded to 9800x3D and got 245 fps on maps crazy. On street I got 186fps.

I tried to use process lasso and only disable cpu 0, I gained a bit of fps but not quite sure if it’s just the inconsistency of fps every game, would love it if you tried it and find out if it does help

What's a "real frame"? Aren't all frames simply 0s and 1s at the end of the day? ghosting is still an issue, but the "real vs fake frame" argumentation never made much sense to me, but maybe i just don't understand..

game runs like ass looks good but then get 10 fps fights get mid setting and crap looks off and bugs the f out of me no good half point tons of other games can run max not buying a whole new set up for one game to carry the lazy deves with their bs events and twitch fan partys its a scam the copies that have came out look run better with smaller teams less time in but god lets add broken zombies and quest that have 20% spawn rates than fix crap uinty sandbox shop good info but every update making this game run worst this year it hit my rig and pass the fall look is so blurry audio is still trash done

HEy applied the things teached in this video for my system: 5800x3 3080 32gb 3200MHz It seems to have slown down loading by 1000 Loading profile data takes forever Getting out of raid as well Need to find why now!

How do you get over 100 fps on this event on streets?, i only get 60-90 fps with stutters and i got rx 7900xt with ryzen 9 7900x

The shadows on factory could be baked in, idk if they are rendered in realtime? Would be nice if you could try to capture examples of the same behaviour on other maps just as evidence the factory shadows are representative of the rest of the game

note: X3D processors apparently cannot use "Ultimate Power" mode for boost cores. I don't know much about AMD and it's new as I'm used to Intel (Ultimate Performance/Power) but apparently this is counter intuitive for the architecture.

May be a pipe dream, but I've strived to get 144fps on all maps in Tarkov and I went too hard spending on a 7950X3D and 64 GB of DDR5 ram. I'm running 6000mhz for ram and 5-5.2gh/z on my 7950X3D, but maybe I'm doing something wrong. I still get bad frame drop on Streets no matter what I do, and I'm playing on ultrawide. Seemingly, playing on my 1080 monitor, I do not experience major performance gains.

I can't believe the shit i have to go through in this shit game, went from a 3070 to a 7900XT aprox 50% better. And my FPS in lighthouse is even lower, except when i load a offline raid with no bots i get 140+. I'm so over this shit game where u have to adjust everything except your underwear.

At this point I am desperate, maybe the youtube-comment section can help me out. I have tried all settings, still I am having major stutters when playing. Like for a second or two. My setup is the following: I7-13700@5,4 (16/24), 32GB DDR4-3200, RTX 4080 OC - 16GB. I should be able to run this game, however I somehow cant get the stutters solved, or above 70ish FPS.

Yes the clouds have a threshold where shadows get simply turned off, tested in spt

lol as soon as the sun comes out and shadows start to be cast my fps drop by 15-20

Thank you so much! Been troubleshooting microstutters for a week and this helped me almost perfectly smooth out my frametime <3 (used cpu 0 and 1 for background task and rest for games on my 8 core Ryzen 7 5700X)
