Happy New Year....love these videos...General, Campers Inn, Northtrail rv dealers: must put down non refundable deposit before inspection and agree on price. Will give credit to buy other Rv, service or shop with remaining down payment balance. that says to me f ing me me from the get go....if everyone would stop buying for a year we will see a change in behavior. Honesty and respect.

If the dealer refuses to fix the problems the customer deserves to get the deposit back. The customer still should pay for the inspection and be happy he didn’t buy a lemon

I would never buy a new camper. There are plenty of barely used campers available and it's always best to let someone else deal with the initial depreciation hit and with the initial problems.

I'm shocked to always see so many broken 5th wheels, not sure why you people keep buying these Units, they are not designed to be pulled down the highway. Move it to a hunting property or a place on a lake and leave it.

I don't know what's worse, the quality of some of these new RV's or the dealers that sell them. Bandits!

I don't know why these people hire you guys to inspect their RV. I mean, what a waste of money! General RV says right on their website, "RVs undergo a rigorous 6-stage, 400-point inspection by our trained technicians before heading to our Supercenters and then to you. So you can shop with confidence knowing that you’re covered." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Apparently, they somehow found 400 things to inspect, but never found any of the things you looked at. Just think how bad it was before they fixed all that other stuff they found. I'd like to see a copy of their inspection report! Hey, I found an outline showing the six stages of their inspection: 1. Smoke cigarette. 2. Drink cup of coffee. 3. BS with coworker. 4. Check in on on phone with OnlyFans. 5. Visit RV bathroom to pee. 6. Watch RV TV, but give after spending 45 minutes looking for the remote control. File generic copy of RV inspection report with boss.

You couldn't pay me to take an RV mfg'd after 2020! This is the typical crap the mass produced RV industry is putting out. Sadly this info is not getting out to first time buyers and they are getting fleeced.

I would say to the RV sales person , if you want a deposit , you just have to Waite for RV inspectors to inspect the RV . If the sales person say no to that , I would walk away to another RV dealership . I don't need to hear the wife to say I told you to get a inspection , the nagging at the camp site would never stop and the nightmare would continue . Happy Holidays to guys and family

The RV industry, despite its general homage to improving quality, generally relies on the dealer to find and fix quality defects rather than fix this shit before it leaves. The dealer, on the other hand, has no incentive to do this and usually assigns the least experienced tech to do the PDI. The tech gets paid by the piece and has no motivation to do a thorough inspection. As such, the industry and dealerships have created the environment to support the need for an independent inspector.

Why, why, why do folks leave a deposit BEFORE an inspection?????

These types of dealers have learned that there is always a fool out there that will buy these pieces of junk, no matter how bad they are. The only solution is a better educated buyer. That happens in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, the UK and a few more European countries, but the US is a dumbed-down country.

Couldn't give me a New RV....any class.....any brand. Mine is 10 years old...... meticulously maintained.... and still looks and performs Great.

I just ordered our G4000 last Friday. $193k MSRP plus almost all options including full body paint (just over $33k worth) After watching your video I wanted to call the dealer and cancel my order. After all, I waited for almost two years to order mine, because of Brinkley's high quality advertised everywhere, except in this video. I spoke with Brinkley Customer Support this morning about defects found during your inspection, and told them that I was not at ease with my order after seeing this video. They assured me that they will do everything possible to make sure they're no manufacturing defects at delivery, but if there are any problems, they would take care of them under warranty. They told me that I don't have to drive to the dealer, which is 4 hours away from me for warranty work, but to take it to RV repair shop of my choice, and I would be reimbursed for the repair expenses. How it will really work, remains to be seen. I will keep my order and along with my channel's subscribers, will expect the delivery in April as promised. I hoped that we don't get disappointed. Thank you for shining the light on these issues.

Just found you channel a month ago. Guess I live under a rock. Already watched 20 videos or more. Hilarious you talk about the guy picking on no roof comments. But Andrew S videos shows the Newmar president saying no problems. Their tour was problematic to me. I have had tiffin too which I do not recommend. I enjoy yalls content! Keep up the attitude!

To me it looks like has not been PDI Pre delivery Inspection . Now at most dealers that is two things PDI then goes to Detail department ! PDI is a different department than Detail of most dealerships . Looks like both have not been done.

I have called the NTSB on several RV Dealers before, that were trying to sell units, with cranked framed, 15 year old tires black Mold, Units that have bee in floods ECT. if you not mechanistically inclined and don't know the basics you will be in trouble.

It looked like the screws were coming out of the antenna. You are right many people don't look at the inside duels. Something I found on the back valve stem for the inside tier. They can chafe on the outer rim and cause a leak. Some have a rubber devise to hold and stabilize the valve stem to prevent chafing. I have found some that were missing.
