I think it speaks volumes about the quality of your inspections that Newmar would reach out to you personally. You both have made an impact in the RV community.
Thanks for telling me to RE-subscribed -- Great job -- I know the client wanted to get good news but -- glad he has your review to fight the Newmar -- that is going to be a big fight.....
It’s going to be interesting to see now since Newmar wants to get better, to watch the future RVs of the same model and see if we have the same issues or if they’re catching them and fixing it from the factory.
When a manufacturer contacts the folks who try to find issues that say's something about Newmar, and the inspection team. This looked like a really nice looking rig.
Love your videos learning a lot planning on purchasing a Motorhome within 6 months and most definitely will use you all when ready to purchase and clapping your hands to me gets my attention
Hey guys, just checking in with you. I know you’re over there in the Florida and on the East Coast. Everything OK you guys safe haven’t heard anything. Let us know you’re OK.
Thanks for checking in 😊 We are not in that vicinity EVER at that time a year...we know better. We can deal with snowstorms anyway, not hurricanes 😉 Only natives wants to camp there 😆. We're in Elkhart right now heading back to AL next week and Phoenix area for Endorsed workshop 😀 Hope you're doing good 👍
You guys are the best. I am so glad I know you guys. But you didn’t want to inspect the B Van I was buying. That’s ok. Also, I missed bumping into you at Hershey this year
This has be a long time coming...hopefully we see good things from this! Also, I wish mfg would figure out a better window design than these current frameless models.
I know why some clap at the beginning of a video. In addition to being an inspector myself, I have a video production company. Clapping is done to sync audio sources or sync two cameras. In movies they use that clapper device. I'm not sure why you do it since you are only using one camera at a time. Are you using separate sources for audio? You could just edit the clap out. Or leave it in. It adds uniqueness to your production. By the way, love your videos!
@@blueoxontherun9188 Successful, yes, but my goal is to increase my efficiency in carrying out the inspection. Being in my mid 70's some of the inspection process is a challenge, like crawling on my back underneath low clearance rigs. Have you used any remote control devices to inspect under the rig or drone for the roof?
If they take the RV to Newmar I am sure the slide out will get fixed right the second time. The Newmar service center is fricken amazing. Yes, it should have been right the first time but we've had nothing but great experiences at the mother ship (other than having to be up at 5AM to have the rig ready for service by 6).
Have you heard that NIRVC is going to start posting manufacture report cards on their website? Maybe some accountability in the industry is going to start. Manufactures need to STOP sending out all these defective units for dealers to correct and buyers to suffer through getting it repaired.
@amiralions2681 if a stadium can have a roof that opens and closes, an RV can have a massive slide out that works perfectly every time. The only difference is the quality of the engineering. RV manufacturers are willing to sacrifice quality for cost and weight. There has to be a balance, but the quality has obviously been sacrificed.
The two of you need to start offer quality control inspection classes TO MANUFACTURERS in their own premises. And teaching them the long road to ISO9000 quality certification feedback and improvement. As a manager I implemented that, and the number of unhappy customers plummetted. Pierre's clapping is in lieu of using a cinema "clapper" to synchronize audio and video tracks. Still...could use something more subtle, or editted out before the final cut. Easy enough, yes?
I got your attention! It's still working 🤣 We're not that fancy with our audio needed to be synchronized 😉...yet! We have been approached by cies for inspection...to be continued 😉😁
Another case where the inspection gives the buyer negotiating power. In the end, the buyer gets a much better RV, and the dealership ends up paying for the inspection.
Nice stow 'n go. Would pass on this unit, though. Buyer will be counting on Newmar to correctly repair the slide-out. What happens when the warranty runs out. Plenty of other units out there.
Disappointing the unit had a few serious issues, but encouraged that Newmar contacted you. They do seem to have made a concerted effort to improve post-covid, judging by units we view at RV shows. You should try to meet with Casey Tubman, their president.
Newmar ........ ours is nice build but if you have any question don't contact them, if you do (like we did), you'll have the same response every single time ....... "we don't know" a polite way to say f..k you !. They're so friendly that the next rv will NOT be a newmar.
@staceycarroll7973 🤣in the beginning as his wife, I was annoyed. BUT it's grown on me🤣and heck, he wasn't a born actor, so I gave him some grace😉thanks for watching!
Don’t get me started on Newmar -They certainly weren’t accountable to us when our 2023 Dutch Star had $15,000 in electrical blowout and now we are traveling without a front air conditioner-No no -I will NEVER recommend Newmar to anyone 🤯

They definitely need their QC in check right?
I always look forward to watching your videos about your inspections. Thank you.

Unless they get their QC in check...
We have 25 yr old Newmar Dutchstar and anytime we call for parts/ tech advice, they treat us like we have a new $550,000 Dutchstar.
Great company.
Another great video , if and when I have the money to buy a Newmar Supreme Aire, you will be my first call. Your grandchildren are just to cute.

I prefer boots on the terrain.
Technology is good in certain applications I agree.
Not in the RV Inspection IMHO.
It puts a nice show tho 😉
We never leave the microwave glass turn table in the microwave when we travel. Normally it can go on the bed under a pillow.

the last part of your comment is a thought we all have but will NEVER happen, unfortunately... 🤠
Why do RV manufacturers insist on making giant slides when gravity exists?
I saw a Winnebago with a big slide that had 5 supporting drives. Makes more sense.
People want them 🙂

There must be. Yet tires don't show any wear IMHO

I'd be interested in a Super C without slides.
350°F is still 100° less than a cheap air fryer or really good convection oven. More cowbell!
