I almost bought an FR3 several years ago. Didn't need an inspection-the dealer blew up the sale with some shady tactics, so we ran. Didn't need your help on that one, but these two were worth the inspection cost!
That first RV dealer in Zephyr Hills, FL, with the foreign client and non refundable deposit was clearly out of bounds....should I say less than optimum? Here is a thought, and perhaps not my best one, but should private sellers get an independent inspection prior to selling? A good report will enhance the sale, a bad one should lead to repair or a fairer price.
@@blueoxontherun9188 If the seller had a CRL list and proof of repair. I would still get my own inspector......probably one recommended by the seller🤣🤣🤣. Like I said, may not my best idea of the day.
@backtoasimplelife we're trying the best we can to do our share by creating these videos hoping it will get to as many people as possible before it's too late 🙂
Love your honesty, attention to details and passion. If the manufacturer can't produce a flawless looking product, what's hiding behind the walls, floor and ceiling?😢 We will be in Tampa looking for the product and floorplan for us next month. Hope to see you there.
C4BO another Rv buyer saved! All those joint’s should be caulked with clear Lexel sealant. It doesn’t turn loose like silicone will. It’s crazy to ever put a deposit on anything especially if it’s not refundable deposit! Pit stop #1 was ready for the scrap yard! Pit stop #2 that salesman is a sleazy crook!
You are awesome, Pierre , showing you have integrity and honesty . Stand your ground , dismiss the snake oil salesman. Don't feel bad about making the dreaded call , look at it as Saving your customer assets , for me it's a relief from making a terrible money pit purchase.
This always makes me laugh; it's not possible to "blow up a deal" unless someone is hiding something. When a seller doesn't bother to look, that is negligence on their part. When a dealer charges for a PDI that was not performed, that is theft. When a seller hides a problem or fails to reveal known problems to the customer, that is fraud. If that is what you are "blowing up," then guilty as charged. 😅
Love your honesty and how much you all care about your customers. I wish I saw your face when that salesman tried that BS. It’s why we all trust you and hire you to protect us.
2 big bust . There's sales people , lawyers , politician's , and criminals , what do they all have in common ? could it be , you cant trust any of them ?
Looks like it went through a Hurricane 😱
C4BO - Great vid! I learn something new every time watching your episodes and just re-enforces my belief getting an RV inspection is the way to go.

Sometimes it's better to walk away... especially when things start to feel "off".

You would really trust a seller? Bless your heart 😉

You know the real version of " bless your heart" right?
@@blueoxontherun9188 And a happy new year to you as well 🙄
Right back at you 😉🤣
The dealership with the Sabre confirmed that their incoming PDI on a trade is about the same as it is on a new unit from the manufacturer.
As a retired Mass. Licensed Home Inspector, it is imperative to get a RV or Mobile Home inspected. Absolutely necessary!!
Especially with the lack thereof quality that manufacturers exhibit
Both a bust for me! I'm always amazed that people actually try to sell these defective rigs!Another great video!
There's a steady supply of uninformed, uneducated buyers that haven't done their research.

Such a shame. Maintenance is huge.
The one in Zephyrhills is I am right has other dealers in center Fl and one in Tallahassee. I have heard of them getting deposits, WATCH OUT.
It should be a law like home buying that you need an inspection prior to purchase.

We are not going to attend Tampa this year. We have workshops scheduled during the same time frame in AZ.
I definitely learned something from this video, The manufactures are building JUNK!
Like watching these videos of things that are found. Many of the buyers would never spot these till WAY too late. Great video
Thank you!

I just feel bad being the one making them realize they have been mislead, or lied to sometimes.

Thanks for your support Anne Marie! We have your back 🙂
I need a shirt with their saying “Where were leaving when” so I can wear it when I go RV shopping!
We will have some done for sure to all our potential customers 🤣
