Say! How do I qualify to be a the Blue Ox partner? I'm am heading to Athens in January for the inspection training! Fundamentals accomplished last week! Thanks
I absolutely loved this. We bought a 30Z from LaMesa in April. I did my own thorough inspection as I am an experienced mechanic, and long time RV owner. I took about 2 hours on the unit and made the salesman quite uncomfortable when I began checking all outlets with a tester. We have been very fortunate to get a good one. The peeling wallpaper on the moldings didn't show up until after the Arizona summer. I plan on removing all of it and painting the trim so that there will never be an issue. The only real problem we've had wasn't a Jayco issue, but an issue with the Ford chassis which took the Ford dealer a full month to fix.
@@blueoxontherun9188 Hmmm......thinking......was it CW? Nah, Marcus wasn't happy either......... could it have been GRV????.....Nope, my mistake.....they had this little guy trying to sell me a toilet tank treatment ....came in a variety of flavors.....didn't care if I bought an RV or not. Will have to get back to you on this
Alright!! We're all waiting...are you Implying someone is trying to sell you shitter treatment making sure your future RV doesn't reek bad odors because they didn't do a PDI and your black tank might be leaking ?? 🤔 smart salesperson that is ...😲 deflecting at its best 👌
@@blueoxontherun9188 Uh, no.....the deal fell thru. I told the little man that I didn't need to buy the treatment if I wasn't buying the RV. So they sent me over to Parts and tried to just sell me a black tank. I insisted that the black tank had to be inspected before I signed anything and they replied that their insurance regulations prohibited it. I bought a few grape flavored tank treatments because they said it would be good for my colon.
C4BO Funny skit , I thought Jayco was better than that . Did their Q C have blinders on ? If I had a RV dealership and Jayco sent me that RV , I be making a phone call to tell them to come pick up this RV and I will never ever have any Jayco RVS on lot again .
It's to show that most dealers don't care...like some salesperson told me before " they are there to move inventory, not hold customers hand " word of a wise salesperson 🤨🥴
This is why i love going to RV shows. Especially on the final day. I've seen units that were literally disintegrating just from being walked thru, sat in and otherwise touched. And the salesreps have no skills, tools, parts or desire to make repairs 😄 A lot lot can be learned about quality of lack thereof!

Lmao!! We had a 30z we loved the floor plan! We had the theater seats loved them. But... the back slide is schwintek and it's junk didn't make it a year and it was broke and needed new motors. Both ac units went out on our 3 trip and we were in Florida and they could not fix them. We had to buy one at Walmart and run the hose out the window. On our 6 trip and now we have only had it for 1.5 years the bedroom slide broke again and the slide topper on the main slide broke off the wall. We drove it to the dealer and traded it in on our fleetwood 33c and lost 25k run from that unit!!!
Good luck with your Fleetwood. I have a motto "Friends don't let friends buy Fleetwood". That was after I bought a brand new Fleetwood truck camper with an aluminum frame. The frame broke, and it was sent back to the manufacturer for repair. It was gone for a few months, then it broke again after a trip or two. They sent an adjuster to my house who low balled me on a buy back deal. I should have recieved nearly full price back considering how little I used it, but they were going by the amount of time I had it since it was purchased which included the months that it was at their factory. Good luck.
I’ve been rv’ing all my life and I’m terrified for the day my old Winnebago dies. The quality is so poor that there will be nothing left in the used market that’s decent and priced for a middle class person.
I appreciate your videos and enjoy them but I need to offer a rebuttal comment to your video. I am not affiliated with any dealer or manufacturer. I’m a native Arizonan, former construction professional , and in 39 years, I’ve owned NINE different motorhomes and recently traded in my 2022 class A for a 2025 class C. I made my recent purchase in September after visiting four large dealers in Phoenix. I looked at new and used. Yes, I saw some BAD used units, and new units that should have been better prepped. But I have never experienced, the high pressure sale, the non refundable deposit, or unwillingness to allow an independent inspection. In my case they were amazingly helpful and responsive, and knew I wasn’t giving final payment until everything was acceptable. Regardless, every purchase made should be “ buyer beware”, and I’m sure there are some unscrupulous characters out there, but I don’t think it’s near as bad as the internet depicts. Should you get an inspection, absolutely, but first do your homework on the dealer and the manufacturer before giving a deposit. And yes, I’ve walked away from a deal more than once and not lost a dime. Thank you for your videos. Happy Trails.
❤️ this was awesome! BO has definitely witnessed way too many slick/divert your attention salesmen!! Perhaps the only thing forgotten was I can’t guarantee a hold for 1k or unless there is a non refundable deposit we are still able to sell it under you!! ;-)

Love what you do 👍👍 keep up the good work. Thank you 🙏
Hopefully not doing this in vain 🙄
Love how Laurel grabs the 'buyer's' attention......literally.
What?? What?? You found a dealership that doesn't do that?? Please share with all of us where they are 😁

100% on point. I can speak on how thorough you all are. Hi Leslie!! Laurel, lol that skit.
😘
I think I will stick to cruising. Great video Ox Team!
Nothing a few minutes with a popcorn ceiling sprayer can't fix.
🤣 right??

Wow - they brought this to a show and no one thought to fix the “cosmetic” stuff!? The skit was great! C4BO

Wow! Great reenactment-truth down to the details
Right??
C4BO - Great skit! Thank you for the chuckle while I shake my head in the dismal show-ready display of the Entegra.
Unfreakinbelievable right?
Laurel’s a Closer!
She is a natural that's for sure.
Stunning…
And so common 🙄

Same sentiment here about the units...and salespeople 😉
This is embarrassing for the manufacturer. They bring forward crap. Its been going on too long!
Hopefully we can help changing some quality and ethics
PDI by the Stevie Wonder quality prep team. 😂
Thanks for chiming in...love it. We'll probably use that in future videos.
PDI executed by the certified SW Team 🤣🤣
Loved the skit! Demonstrates real-life pushy sales tactics.
Right??
Didn't you feel at home 🤣
Shit! ..... this is my favorite floor plan.
You might get lucky?
Read other comments though about previous owners...

@SeriousExplorations had it for 2 years now and it's been great but like all RVs it's only a matter of time before they break.
We attended the same "show". There were some real doozies on display.
No proudness from the dealership at all
