I just started playing Cosmoteer and find finding these videos super fun to watch. I'm barrelly know much about the game but I found that Anti is such a good player, his maneuverability is too good.

How can I find the blue prints for the massive ion cannon ship ?

Not gonna lie the addition of the Battle Royale DOT really ruins it. We don't get to see which ships are actually the best at fighting.

Regarding your missile/torpedo question. I like how the game StarSecotor classifies missiles vs torpedos. In that game, a missile is guided while a torpedo is typically unguided. So in this game a nuke could be the torpedo while the H.E./Ion ones are missiles.

You always need better speed and maneuver. Too many weapons isn’t very effective if they can’t shoot much. And no range options especially need speed.

It may be making more damage to keep the ions on all the time. But surely looks ugly and gives away your effective range.

That ST guy (SpaceTheFinalFro) really demonstrated the flaws in ST ship design. Trek design language is extremely iconic and hugely influential to western culture. But most factions (other than the Borg) commit virtually every cardinal sin of engineering design possible. Single points of failure everywhere ("Target their weapons array"), unnecessary explosions due to running high voltage in consoles, lack of redundancy for a lot of ship functions (1 bridge per ship/segment, 1-2 impulse engines, 1 main computer core per ship segment, etc), vulnerability of several important locations (bridge is always over-exposed, skinny/thin necks/pylons are common, etc.

Seen some future and present fights, seems a part of the building process ought to be use some more time to lean how the ship moves.

Interesting to watch, new to this channel! I recently started playing Cosmoteer and try to learn the mechanics, seen some guides. I probably do not understand several of the designs and choices, unless there are improvements that can be done. Along some possible pilot issues, mistakes and/or learn the ships better, maybe use a controller or flight-stick. Becomes quite different fight when 1 vs many players, since reduces the APM for the many giving much higher chance to win if have some nimble ships that do some DPS so can chip away. Wonder if mines are underrated, I probably would not be the boss for now. XD

You're one of the very few people who dont actively stream that i keep notifications on for, and it's because of videos like this. Genuinely the most entertaining Cosmoteer content on here and some of the best content in general that I've seen.

I think the last antithesis ship would be much better if it were a deck cannon ship instead of a railgun ship. Maybe a couple long ones for any that pass in front, but also have a bunch of deck guns facing in all 4 directions. Then the swarming could be attacked.

actually there is another way then allowing illegal designs or using mods: MEGA-ships! :D

The Rihkxyrk one is based on a fighter from Star Wars. Star Wars Empire at War is an rts with a lot of good mods, Awakening of the Rebellion is one in which you can see that ship, as a fighter for the faction known as the Black Sun (criminals banded together to challenge the Rebels and Empire)
