    love these match ups got into playing cosmoteer last month and its really fun so just seeing peoples designs and stratagies is useful and fun It remonds me of battle bots kinda but in space.

    If new contenders are interested in joining this competition, what credit value tiers should you show up with?

      Tournaments are always 1.5 million per player. If you wish you can have multiple smaller weight ones like two 750Ks and three 500Ks, but you should _always_ stay in the bounds of 1.5mil. There's a reason why most of Blade's matches are also 1.5mil.

      1.5mil credits is the 'standard' elimination cost, used in the tourneys, most typical pvp games, and a good portion of blade's games

    Lag isnt bad to watch. If anything it gives us slow motion shots of tthe destruction.

    I love the design of the battlecruiser of Charal.
    Teh design of Blaze's ships is also fun to see at 12:10 . he has the engines in the middle so they are protected by other parts, but due to the room you have to leave for the exhaust of the engines his actual weapon segment are exposed, so he detaches the weapon segment with the explosive loads and rams that segment right up to his engines so everything is protected by the armor on the sides. Dunno how he keeps his weapon segment in place but it is a smart solution to save space and armor cost with it

      it exploits a quirk of the physics engine, where between certain speeds (believe 15 and 21 m/s) small blocks (like armour/structure wedges, in this case) are fast enough to phase through each other, but slow enough that the game doesn't use a more sensitive collision check. it's known as Phase-locking, and can make some really nifty ships, blaze's Phantasm there is a good example of a missile orbiter using that
      i've tried messing around with it, but though it's reliable once the ship is made, it's very finnicky to make a ship able to lock in the first place with it

      @@ez_theta_z9317 The speed is even more specific its exactly between 20.7 and 20.9 m/s any lower or higher wont work.

    can u please check the connection of the participants before the game? Is there no way to capture the gameplay and play it realtime on record?
