16:55 Qawa and I played that game with the newspaper filter that you can see.. While blade turned it off, we kept it on.. which is also why it took so long to shoot gleeton down since was unable to see what i was targetting 😂
i think i had a decent showing in the first game there blaze just got sniped out immediately, i managed to just about get a win my ship does trade out firepower for mobility, defence, and the utility of tractor beams, it's very fun to fly and can really throw off some opponents, i typically have an easier time against ion rammers than i did there, as yoyo's ship is set out a bit weirdly and also had its own TBs very fun match, and yoyo's ion ship does explode very cool and about me hitting the more armoured less damaged parts, you try piloting a monodirectional-thrust ship with tractor beams against a diagonal ship which *also* has tractor beams, while trying to stay out of their beam and also manage the Harpe's own weaponry and all of that at like 300ms ping, i live in new zealand

The Ring of Death has only randomly decided like 3 fights, NORMALLY its great because as you say "Swiss cheese" when the armor is weak the under dog has a chance to sneak a good shot into a huge brick and get a kill at the finish line.
"I forgot this game came with shaders"... every game comes with shaders, otherwise you wouldn't have graphics. Shaders are the code the GPU executes, without shaders you'd be rendering from the CPU.
From artistic perspective, this shader looks nice. From every other, it's horrible. Something with enhanced explosions, bloom and lens flares would be much more usable. JJ Abrams filter :-)
I love your episodes. Have watched every one so far. But the shader insanity made me skip this one after 1 min. Nice to try something new but I don’t think the shader helps the content in any way. Cheers
I think inverted is fine for thumbnail but I don't care for it to much for watching personally. Not a wont watch it kind of bad but would prefer normal kind of thing

Yup, it is indeed awful. The battles and commentary are amazing as always, but I'm really glad that you will embrace the dark-mode-lyfe from now on.

10 min so much better. It give the better player time to win. In almost every 5 minute the zone plays to much of a role with the big ships

absolutely brilliant piloting, that was probably my favorite skirmish in the entire series largely thanks to your skill

For anyone getting blinded, enable Windows Magnifier, and from its options mark "invert colours", so you don't have the white blinding screen.

Maybe mix it up? Do some 5 mins sometimes, it mixes up the meta a bit as 5 mins favours manoeuvrable ships
