*2:21* Okay, Nick here, the owner of the Baggage Blaster. The reason behind all the insane flashy lights of this ship is an obscure yet incredibly cool concept known as the ''Ion Capacitor.'' The insane amount of ion prisms loop around in a big *U* shaped tunnel that converges with itself and creates a positive feedback loop, boosting ions' strength to *400% the power they'd usually have!* So a 16-ion ship, which would normally be suboptimal for a 1.5mil instantly skyrockets to a ship that can unleash the power of almost *64* properly combined beams with zero falloff!.. Granted in short bursts that are really hard to control. Still though, I personally think this is one of the coolest features of ions and I love how the ship design of the Baggage Blaster turned out, even though it is very much a suboptimal ship and can not thrive in a PvP environment. The DPS potential is unholy though, especially against shields which ions typically struggle against.
Nick is cycling his ion beam. He basically put a bunch of prism that points the beam around and back at the original, with every cycle the beam grows stronger. Because the beam take a little bit of time to travel between prism, when attacking, nick will point one of the prism at the enemy, it’ll break the cycle, but he’ll unleash the cycled beam for a very short time, then the beam will go back to its original strength
The ion ship in the beginning of the vid was a ion burst ship. It is meant to “charge” the prisms and then release all of the energy into an enemy basically generating a burst meant to cut through shields or layered defenses before they can be rotated or replenished.
Damn that ion charger was terrifying, that’s a massive amount of ion charge in it Edit: just saw it get destroyed, that’s the thing with ion chargers, they explode easily due to the amount of energy in the ion prisms. Don’t think it would get through the arm or anyway though, it was running out of charge by the time it exploded
what nick's ion thing is is an Ion Capacitor, basically a loop of prisms if you keep putting ion beam in, it'll charge up to almost 4x the power of the input beam, charge time and burst duration is dependent on the amount of prisms it's very fun, but not greatly practical
Can you do a turtorial sometime on how to do a figet spinner ship. Have watched your video's and really liked them, i wish more people watch your video's and play the game. :)
I haven't tried this but you can import ships into the game as .PNG images, so screenshot one of the spinners then paste it into MS Paint. You might be able to get the spinner in your game to experiment with.
@@ez_theta_z9317you can in fact import a ship as a png image. It’s not perfect but it works. If you pause this video when it’s properly oriented and zoomed in over a ship and screenshot the image you can do it yourself instead of falsely correcting others. Never correct someone unless you are 200% confident about it.
@@ekothesilent9456 that is not how it works, it needs to be a ship.png image specifically, as only a ship.png has the steganography that actually saves what a ship is. A screenshot will not work you are likely getting it confused with the 'import shape from png' option, which does work with screenshots but only creates an outline of the shape out of corridors i am indeed 200% confident about this

Hey man, im rather interested in the concept of this but im not entirely sure how it works. Would you mind showing me via discord?
@@cadam007 Are you on the official Cosmoteer Discord server?

It's fucking genius, I've been thinking of this idea for a while, but with hotkeys, but to see someone actually do it is great!
It’s clearly a road flare

I think it's supposed to be played like nukes, charge up, go in and attack, leave and charge up again.

Positive Feedback + Thruster Smoke = Volcanic Thruster Smoke
12:20 Now it becomes two ships.... The cut is so even
now we need capture the falg with garvity wells and slingshots
You need a counter for "not ideal" Whipped into the either" "I don;t know whos going to win this" and my favorite "This is going to be the thumbnail"
Really nice vid !
Ill always comment just to boost this. I rarely comment on any video besides your series. ❤
That Majo Bossfight was the closest I've seen! Great fight!

BOSS fights needs realy 10min or more
like 143
Think of how many crew die in these battles
Is it only me hearing some weird micro noises?
Please take out the time limits on matches
Ouu please, check the connection of the participants BEFORE. it's absolute BS
