if im ever doing this again im 100% not dropping that underframe - none of the bolts are captive nor are there welded nuts - you have to hold EACH SINGLE ONE above with a wrench as you loosen AND tighten....and its a LOT of bolts..... also don't assume that you'll be able to break those lines loose - on some of these they've been rusting in there for 20 years - i had to cut mine at the rack AND at the pump because it was rust-welded on - Im used to taking subfames off on cars abut its never as painful as chrysler designed it so I didn't think id end up spending hours on it

Hi great installation video I have on question, my 06 was not wired for the module, so I need to make a wiring harnes and have the plastic connector which has 4 pin ports...I know only 3 of the four pins are used but I can not find the pinouts for the modual anywhere. so my question is can you tell me what pins the pink, red and brown wires connect to. I apologize if you have already answered elsewhere....any help would be greatly appriciated.

I bought a 2006 town and country used. I drove it around 100 miles and the engine light came on. Auto parts diagnostic said it was the map sensor. I changed it and light came back. I changed it again because I had a warranty on it. That still wasn’t the problem. My van sat for 3 months until I had the money to bring it to mechanic for diagnostic. I watched this video and took air filter out and found the left purge line that led to the charcoal chamber wasn’t even plugged in. Not sure how that happened. I honestly spent so much time online watched so many videos. This was the video I needed and fixed my problem in 10 minutes. Thank you thank you thank you so much.

WOW! I've always pride myself in doing all my own auto repair work. I have all the tools including an air compressor and impact wrench. I just found out that I need the complete Rack and Pinion assembly replaced on my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan (Handicap van with the side Ramp). I was quoted $1,304.97 out the door for parts and labor. Starting to think after watching your video if I should really try tackling this job myself, or would I just be better off taking it in and letting the shop do it instead. The only thing is, they quoted me the price with a Cardone Reman Remanufactured Rack & Pinion. I rather go with a brand new one instead. What's anyone's opinion on the price? The 1350 belts is for the compressor if i`m not mistaken.

i see milage at 300,000 on odometer at end. i got 516,000 on an 05 town and country. now pump leaks. you know them bolts will twist off. at least i ben warned.

I removed the replaced the rack in my 2001 T&C and did not drop the support brace with all the bolts in it. I also disconnected the steering linkage at the roll pin for inside the car. With the driver's side outer tie rod removed the rack comes out on w passenger side. I removed the charcoal canister to get at the ps fluid lines. Not having to drop that support saves a lot if time. Good video. Happy Motoring.

Just look at it as a tune up kit after 100,000 miles. If something is squeaky from this area when u start it. Just get this kit. And have peace of mind.

I have a 2002 grand caravan 2.8 liter engine. I changed out coil pk,plugs, and wires but still get 3rd cylynder misfire. ANY thoughts on that?

Seems you missed a fairly important part of the process by not filming the removal of the rotor.

Thanks a lot for this helpful video. I was stuck at using the Serpentine Tool. The long handle makes things tough. So using the Breaker Bar and the extension part on the Tensioner worked for me. Sometimes the smallest hints make the whole job work.

This is BS men, I've seen many used 80K - 150K miles Denso TT sparkplugs, both electrodes - 'center iridium and ground platinum' still in place and most still within factory gap setting. You got yourself 100% fakes regardless where you bought them from. End of story,
