A few questions: 1) do we turn on the +advantage catalog in ASC scale campaign and CBO Campaign? 2) There is a suggested 6 ads limit per ad set, do we create more ad sets to add more ads or do we keep it cap at 6 per campaign. 3) Do we still need a warm sale and a cold sale campaign, or a single campaign with +A audience is fine
Hi Sam. You've responded to a couple of comments suggesting that if the daily budget is low, e.g. $100, then you should just use an ASC campaign. I have three questions on this if you'll indulge: 1. Are we good to mix images with videos in this ASC? 2. If the initial creatives underperform, do we just add new ones to the same ASC? 3. If the ROAS is strong and we want to increase the budget, are we good to double it? Or does it need to be more conservative, e.g. 10 - 20% every couple of days? Thanks!

If anyone else has insights, please feel free to comment! I just started my Shopify store a week ago, selling healthy vegan snacks. These are homemade, with my own packaging. I’ve also created new Instagram and Facebook pages for the business. Here are my questions: 1. Should I start with a traffic campaign and wait to build enough traffic, or go directly for a conversion campaign? 2. Is it possible to use your method in a traffic campaign with a small budget, like $100 per day? 3. I’m focusing on selling only in New York State. Should I target the entire state or just New York City? Considering the dense population in NYC, would it be more cost-effective to focus only there, or should I include the whole state? 4. Any advice for someone just starting out would be greatly appreciated.

I have only 1 question and sorry if I missed it on the video but; I have 1 CBO Campaign that has 1 Adset with 5 Creatives inside. 1 of 5 creatives works awesome and I get 6 ROAS already for over 4 days. Now I want to test new creatives, I know I shouldn't add new creatives into the existing 1 Ad set but my budget for the CBO is 100 dollars a day, so should I create a new adset inside of the CBO campaign or should I create a new whole CBO campaign to test new creatives without touching the budget of the winning adset from the existing CBO campaign? I'm so sorry if I'm not clear enough as English is not my main language but hope you understand me well. I appreciate it already and have a great week Sam! :)

When testing new creatives, do you post the same Pack of ads in both the Interest Ad Set and the Broad Ad Set? If yes, do you ensure there's no audience overlap between the two ad sets?
Thank you for all of this info - incredibly helpful! We stopped using/testing interests a few years back when FB removed a ton of them and subsequently, all of our winners. We run mostly open targeting now. What are your thoughts on subbing in LLA's for the interest targeting? Also, are you doing any creative testing during BFCM or only repurposing the past year's winners? We haven't done a lot of testing this year and have maybe 3-5 winners over the year (one of which has been running for over a year!). Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this, but I have to say that the key to successful dropshipping is having a product that truly delivers value to your customer. Of course, it's not always easy to come by these good products (I am personally using a little bit of winnerzila as they give out pretty much everything I need for my store). At the end of the day, the most important thing is to find what works best for you and your business.
Hey Sam, it seems that the ASC campaign can only add website and custom audience data, but there is no way to add audience signals from Facebook and Instagram interactions. Should I create a retargeting CBO Campaign for Facebook and Instagram Engaged Audience?

Watched a few different videos now, some really good stuff. Just now starting facebook ads for the very first time and starting out with your current strategy. Probably luckier than most starting out. Would be also beneficial to see you make a video on the type of content you make for the ads. I was able to find a couple ad library of some companies you run so I have an idea but would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on the topic. Plus one ad library looked like strictly vertical content unless it just doesn't show me all dimensions of the ad from my view.
You said something that confused me: "If this is your first time running performance max, do not set your ROAS, just run it to max conversions", but right before you said "do not set this to max conversions". I also didn't see an option that said "max conversions", did I miss it?

Do you recommend updating/changing your PMAX campaign on a regular basis so it doesn't fatigue - say every quarter - or just leave as is if working?

Tricky one. If you NEED to sell the same amount of units for each product then split it out and break the budgets. If you dont care what sells the most then group it.

Use your customer information to take an informed decision. If that interest works, great, if not cut it and try another.

9 Creatives is totally fine. Just avoid a crazy amount.

Yes for the most part just an ASC. If you are running sale creatives then you can create a second ASC that only runs during the sale.
Hey Sam about "supporting ads", (low spending high roas) do we should leave on just supporting ads that have a good roas and then switch off ads that are spending every day but have a really bad roas , in a profitable campaign?
No. Supporting ads only do well when you have high spenders creating your average and building multiple touchpoints. You should definitely pause ads that are low/mid spend and under ROAS targets.
Very interesting Meta strategy that really plays on leveraging the algorithm 🙌 I was wondering if a similar setup be would possible on LinkedIn ads? I have not been able to find anyone showcasing a strategy that is not a classic funnel based strategy.
The general principles will work but this is purely made based on the experience of running about half a billion in ecomm.

max conversions and then after 50 conversions swap to tCPA or tROAS depending on your service. never had an account banned on GMC so im not sure I can help!

Not totally out of the way but its a stretch. Focus on just running 1 ASC campaign.
