    This is amazing-finally have some hope!! :D You recommend starting with an ASC campaign if you don’t have data and then graduating the ads after a few weeks-but where do you graduate them to? I thought you’d usually start with CBO and graduate the best-performing 10% to ASC. Also, is it fine to use the same creatives across all interest ad sets?       depends on their margins. if their breakeven ROAS is under 1.5, they're profitable. if it's above, they're losing money. what do you think their margin looks like?

      1. pulling directly from a crm to meta depends on the crm. some, like hubspot or klaviyo, integrate easily. for others without direct integrations, we use tools like zapier or custom APIs. if that’s not an option, exporting lists manually works too, but it’s slower. which crm are you working with? 2. no video on it yet, but the process is simple. use ad scheduling in the ad set settings to limit when ads run. combine that with analyzing time-based performance in the breakdowns tab to find your peaks. how are you currently managing your schedules?

      glad you're enjoying the content! with $1500/month, first break it into weekly chunks: $375/week. from there, split based on campaign priorities. for example, if you're running multiple campaigns, focus 70-80% on your main driver and test with 20-30% for other areas. do you have specific campaigns in mind or just starting?

    Great video! When you "graduate" from the testing to the ASC+ scaling campaign, do you duplicate post IDs? Reason for asking: When duplicating Post IDs, I noticed in the Ad preview section, only one platform shows (either FB or IG - not both).

      yes, always duplicate post IDs when moving to asc+ scaling. it keeps all the engagement. if only one platform shows in the preview, double-check that the post ID is tied to both placements. are you using native posts or ads manager-created posts?

Example: When do you decide to turn off an ad thats soaking up all the spend but not getting purchases? (at how much ad spend) Also - as the CBO Prospecting campaign continues to get more and more ad sets, when do you decide to increase the budget on the campaign?       good question. yes, use the post id to move winners into asc. this keeps all social proof intact. once it’s in asc, pause the original ad to avoid competing with yourself. how often are you finding winners?

    Hi Sam. Fantastic video!! What happens if I just put all the creatives that I have into one single ASC and scale it no matter how much the budget is? How does it compare with having only the best creatives in ASC? From what I understand, meta should be smart enough to allocate the budget to the best creatives in ASC right?

      meta will optimize, but flooding an asc with too many creatives dilutes performance. best to stick with your top performers for better budget allocation and insights. how many creatives are you working with right now?

      @ I’m having 10-15 creatives of images and videos. I read a blog from Facebook and they advised that ASC works better with 15+ creatives as it’d have more options to allocate the ad. So I’m a bit confused what should be the right amount of creatives here. Btw thanks a lot for getting back!

      facebook's advice is solid. 15+ creatives give the algorithm more to test, which can improve performance. if you're at 10-15, you’re close enough to start. just make sure your creatives are varied. do you have plans to test different angles or offers?

    Man this is literally like the 20th time I have seen this video and everytime I watch I learn something new! Sam I understand the concept of ASC Scale and your previous video did talk about the budget split in the start for ASC vs CBO. As you test new creatives in CBO. Are you also scaling those campaigns in terms of budget? I have notice CBO campaigns can be more volatile to scaling vs ASC. I meant from what I have heard.

      love that you're rewatching and picking up more each time. for cbo, i keep the budget pretty steady while testing creatives. if something works, i’ll shift that winner into asc for scaling since it’s less volatile. have you tried testing this approach yet?

ASC campaign works best with one product catagory or you can add different products in one ASC campaign from the CBO winners?

      good call on waiting for stability before scaling. asc works best when you focus on one product category at a time-keeps the algorithm clean and optimized. if you're adding winners from cbo, group similar products. for exclusions, yes, always exclude past buyers unless you're running upsells or reactivation campaigns. are you planning to test with a larger budget right away or ease into it?

      @@SamPiliero Sam I am currently at 280 on my CBO. thinking of launching ASC Catalog since i got over 1100 skus. Also for CBO I am thinking of keeping it consolidated with other product catagories also since technically its the same audience. The idea is to net profitability instead of trying to run 3 or 4 CBO campaigns per product catagory. I simply cannot afford it then. Any feedback please.

    Hi Sam, my prospecting CBO campaign is performing well.. I graduated the top performing ads to the scale campaign and they are not performing well on the scale campaign. Should I let them run for another week or do you pause right away if they are not performing?

      if they tank immediately, pause them. no point burning budget. sometimes ads that crush in cbo won’t work in scale campaigns due to audience differences. have you tried testing other top performers or tweaking the audience?

    Hey Sam! I have a doubt, correct me if I'm wrong. When we are testing a new product, we only run the perspective campaign right. So we don't need to use ASC campaign for 2 weeks until we get top performing ads. In that case can we use our 100% of our budget to only run our perspective campaign? Because I'm talking about a brand new product and brand new store

      you're spot on. for a new product and store, put 100% into prospecting at the start. no need for asc until you find winning ads. focus all budget on testing and gathering data. how’s the performance been so far?

Should I add a proportional budget to the campaign due to the newly added adset inside the CBO or even for the New creatives at the ASC? (Order value)

      1. yes, wait until you have 2-3 solid winners from the cbo before moving them into asc. testing more than one gives you flexibility. 2. for cbo, no need to adjust the budget-just let it run with the new ad set. for asc, scale the budget proportionally based on your winners and expected order value. are you tracking performance closely during this transition?

      no need to raise the budget just because you’re adding a new ad set. keep scaling or adjusting based on roas like usual. let the data tell you if the new interest is worth scaling. how’s your current roas looking?

    Hello! I got a question, I sale in the US but only target the hispanic market, yet when I use ASC+ broad campaigns to the whole contry my cpms skyrocket so I dont use them, what do you suggest on doing for the scale campaign structure? Thanks

      asc can work, but for a niche like the hispanic market, broad might waste budget. try layering in language-specific interests or custom audiences to narrow it down. for scaling, test cbo with narrowed targeting or even lookalike audiences based on your best customers. have you tried running creative in spanish?

      asc thrives on broad targeting, so restricting language can limit its effectiveness. cbo might work better for now if you're targeting only spanish speakers. are your current cbo campaigns giving consistent results?

    A problem I'm running into is 60% of my products make up 80% of sales. I have to go so far down the list to hit that 80% mark, it's including final sale items and things we wouldn't otherwise put dollars behind. I think the reason for this is the amount of money we have in "all product" carousel ads. I'm running into a lot of issues trying to implement this strategy.

      sounds like your "all product" ads are diluting your spend. shift focus to hero products-the top 20% driving most revenue-and build campaigns around them. exclude final sale items to keep spend efficient. have you tested single-product or small-group carousel ads instead?

      @@SamPiliero Yes I've done quite a few single item ads and have had a lot of luck. They fizzle fast where the "all product ads" seem to run on forever at a good ROI.
