Fantastic resource. This was super helpful Sam. Bookmarked this was so well laid out and I"ll be using this as I go into FB ads coming from the SEO world.
This is my first time watching your content, and I really like your explanations! However, I have a few questions/confusion: 1. Does this approach for new ad accounts or new business? 2. Why not start with a traffic campaign first and then use retargeting to drive sales? 3. My total budget is $400. Should I allocate $200 as a daily or lifetime budget, or break it into smaller daily amounts like $20? I’d appreciate anyone’s input.
glad the content helped! here’s what i’d recommend: 1) this works for both new accounts and businesses. just make sure to focus on testing creatives early. 2) traffic campaigns can build data, but for $400, it’s better to go straight to conversion campaigns. they push for actual sales, not just clicks. 3) go with $20 daily. smaller, consistent spend helps ads optimize better over time. what kind of products are you selling?
@@SamPiliero Currently, I’m selling customizable iPhone cases and have 4 collections. Do you recommend focusing on a single collection or running ads for all 4 collections with separate ad sets? Also, how many days should I let each ad run before making changes? I’m really enjoying your explanations! Do you have any video recommendations for creating ad creatives?
I need that before but not any longer SmartEthics just helped me out my reach is also great and my account is doing great now SmartEthics got 23k followers acct
Hi Sam! I just found you and I'm now going through all of your videos. So far, very good information! I see you mentioned having the FB and IG shop connected and that it drives sales up 20-30% in a few videos. Could you do a video about how to connect that and have it all set up right? I have FB shop connected to my Shopify, but I keep getting errors from FB because most of my items are digital downloads, and as far as I know FB doesn't allow digital products. I would like to know how to disconnect the digital items from the FB shop, so I have only the physical items, and how to then add the FB shop (and IG shop) on my ads. Thanks! :)
Let me ask you a question. When testing a creative on the broad pack, can I use the same creative 6 times in a single broad pack or do I have to do 6 different creatives in the same broad pack??? I have this doubt...
use 6 different creatives in the same broad pack. duplicating the same creative won’t help-it just splits the spend without adding value. what results are you seeing with your current testing?
I've set the broad pack, last week I have two ads performing and other 4 not so well, do I turn off the 4? At which point are we moving from prospecting to ASC? and how do we move them?
Hello, each time i add new ads i need duplicate adset or i can just put inside ? and to raise and get lower budget do you always recommend duplicating or increasing/decreasing directly from the active one? and in ASC campaign what to put ?
I put mine inside and tried putting it outside as well but it was honestly frustrating thank God for SmartEthics who helped us out he got 23k follow acct he put me through as well
Thanks for all the amazing info! However, does this set up for sales campaign work for a brand new company and brand new facebook account , because I find it very hard to make 50 sales in the first week to get out of the learning phase?

Increase the campaign budget or have one Advantage Shopping Campaign exclusively for catalogs and another one for all the other creatives?"
the BEST ads will absorb the most budget. if your catalog is spending more than your normal creatives then its likely just better. the only exception to this is when you are running a short term sale and need spend on a promotion asap

I saw in another video of yours that if you only have a budget of about $100 a day, you would only run ASC. If you only run ASC, will creative testing be done within one ASC? In that case, how many creatives will be tested within the ASC?
@@SamPiliero Thank you for your reply. You said that you will consolidate all the creatives into one ASC, but how many creatives can I put in? Is that enough? Would it be better to add new creatives to one ASC campaign from time to time?
Thanks a lot for an in-depth video.

Excellent Video Sam, Would love to see more videos like this, super valuable & helpfull, thanks man
More to come!
excellent video! thanks sam!
Heavy stuff bro
insightful video
If we have $250 a day would you still suggest ASC and Retargeting or prospect and retention / retargeting only?
Can you please make a video how to do proper market research for any product? It will be a great help

But I think you went a little fast. Like there wouldn't be any problem if the video was like 40 minutes long.

Would you recommend interests and broad adsets in a cbo to see what gets spend
Both but never stacked
Can we do asc retention and cbo all in one campaign and keep all of them in seperate ad set, is it ok?
no. you need breakdowns to gain some control. there is not set and forget
I've set the broad pack, last week I have two ads performing and other 4 not so well, do I turn off the 4? At which point are we moving from prospecting to ASC? and how do we move them?
I don’t have any details of your exact metrics but it sounds like you were thinking the right way
@@SamPilierocould you make a video on how you move the broad campaign over to the scaling campaign

Yes but just have less ad sets. It depends on your budget! Don’t stretch yourself

7x ROAS is solid, especially for clothing brands. how are you targeting cold audiences for apparel-broad or interests?

That’s correct if you’re only spending $100 per day then just run one ASC campaign. Don’t worry about creative testing just throw it all in one place
