Dark souls 1 and 2 sure fight hard for the worse souls game out there

I think mighta been pc, or your pc, I bought the game at launch and never once saw lag like you showed where it was choppy and your character was glitching across the screen

The only thing connected to this game that is dog shit, is this review.

Weird, I did not think any of the bosses were that bad besides the final. The lion was easy to dodge I’m confused why you found it so difficult.

Forogt to mention that trick wealons actually have a use they are two weapons in one. Aome weapons ahve serated edges whivh are better for beast enemies and then blunt for other types. Thats why i always carried 2 weapons wigh 4 uses for 4 different enemy types.

I’m pretty sure I’m not ever going to purchase another fromsoft game ever again. I beat DsR, Ds2, Ds3 3x.. ER main game. It’s not fair lol despite arguments it is. “Don’t be greedy attacking.” lol you mean like when the enemy, mini boss, Boss get to do 3-8 attack moves in succession while you get a measly 1 hit in? The stamina is shet, roll roll dodge dodge so when you attack none left to do so or none left to run away and heal, heals for nothing that by time done boom what you healed is again gone redundant. Oh I had “fun” otherwise why would I waste time, right? But like 3-4 “fun” out of 10 yea meaning 6/10 I was just stressing frustrated cortisol dumping lol 😂. Yes it’s known as a hard series yet still. Anyways have a blessed healthy happy day

Why they added in "arena wide attacks" to so many bosses in Elden Ring, when things like that never existed in any prior Souls game is insanity to me. Like other comments said, it severely limits the way you can fight the bosses.

Radahn fight is literally just him flailing. It's such a bad trash fight, no fun at all. The fuck is fun about a boss that pretty much never stops attacking, dashing, throwing 3 different magic attacks at you..m

Great review. You Actually played it to this extent just to shut up the fans who would say you didnt "really" play it. I was thinking about playing it but wasnt enjoying the tutorial and combat. I thought i mightve been wrong because of the amount of money they put into the cinematics and graphics. Besides that i think you would enjoy nine sols. I never thought i was into metroidvanias but this game was truly amazing. Imagine a 2d souls game with a clear (great) narritave and hollow knight combined with sekiros parry as the gameplay (and one of the best final boss.)

Ds3 may have slightly better bosses in the base game, but in every other way, bloodborne is the better game. The lore is deeper, the world and level design are more interconnected and nowhere near as linear, and the gothic horror aesthetic gives it way more personality. The soundtrack is perfect and perfectly fits the atmosphere, and the DLC is easily FromSofts best. Combat is fast and way more engaging, and the trick weapons add a level of variety that ds3 just can’t match. Where ds3 refines the old formula, bloodborne evolves it into something way more unique and interesting. So at the end of the day you saying ds3 is a “masterpiece” and bloodborne is “mid” tells me everything I need to know

I have never heard dark souls world described as "lazily put together".

That's a lot of shitty takes for only 28 minutes. Not even mad, that's amazing. Especially when half the video feels like /v/'s "old good, new bad".

Man, when will people finally accept that this is a good game. So many of the "issues" people complain about at this point can very well be attributed to Elden Ring ("enemy spam" "bad lock on system") The game is not flawless by any means, but people just hate on this title from boredom at this point I guess. (Btw. Not a console player, sad to see the game runs badly on consoles, but to be fair, they have not held back on graphical flair and texture details, this is far from the only poorly optimized games on consoles. Bloodborne never got 60fps support and yet its "the best soul like" to many).

Bro I recently completed the game and yeah it's underwhelming but it's a nice game to try. Yeah if you compare it to some bigger titles like Elden Ring then yes it will feel a little faded. But as a stand alone game it's good! Not as challenging though but had a great time with it.

Like, how do you end up with such a shitty conclusion while saying that you love Fromsoft like "??????" -There is no B-team, there never was. Either for DS2 or AC6. -AC is the older project (as a series), their former "goose" and as a game it's as much as a "big game" as any of their other Dark Souls games. -SOTE is already a big enough disapointment, being a sequel instead of a DLC would have been fucking stupid. -Don't ever cook again about money or expansions. No one wants From to turn into a joke that sells a 60 bucks games along with 120 bucks of various DLCs. Like EEEERRRRH how can someone have such a dogshit opinion, it's fucking insane. Fromsoft doesn't need that money, like all other gaming companies (especially when they get this big) a 60 buck game is WIDLY enough to fund an open world game. And even then, 60 bucks is a lot and, if you know anything about video game production only appeared as a price tag because big companies wanted to get more money out of their games, and that other companies followed when no one complained. On the topic of the story some would say it's subjective, but I think it's fair to assume that everything that was Miquella/Radahn related was bad, badly written and basically "ruined" the lore it retconned/elaborated upon.

Elden ring is not the easiest game by any means prior knowledge will serve you better in literally every other souls game pretty petty comment I know but I hear it a lot and it’s just not true

My take on it is that it takes way too long to access like get a character from scratch to 100 at least then beat half the game is a huge ask

Your like a child who knows they're contradicting what they believe in order to get attention. Like a politician telling a lie just to promote their agenda You know the game is good. But if the only way to get attention is to lie, hey, good for you. You would probably have tripled views if it wasn't people just taking the time to criticize your criticism. And personally, if the views I do get are from people telling me I'm wrong, I know eventually that's going to run out.

I bought the og game years ago for 5 bucks and I regret that and still want my money back! Lol fuck this game too plays like ass makes me want to go back to Darksouls 2.

Still the same for the most part. Little better. Beat it on launch, uninstalled immediately. Went back last week, got to the Hollow Crow, remembered why I despised this game, erased save, removed game from account permanently.

Funniest thing about this video is the end where you compare Elden Ring Base to Shadow of the Erdtree. Yes, I 100% believe that the people who designed ER designed this. The entirety of the late game Elden Ring Boss roster (excluding Godfrey) is complete ass, and is literally the stepping stone to what we see in Shadow of the Erdtree. Elden Ring is far from the masterpiece many claim, and it is wild to see people complain about things in the DLC that happen in the base game as well.

I only had frames drop once in my full play through on ps5. Game was great.

I imagine you are probably playing on pc with Xbox controller. I played it like this as well cause it was free on game pass and it was garbage. Bought it on ps5 and it is flawless! Love this game. What was frustrating is that I was looking for another souls title and this one is no where to be found. I just happen to scroll past it on the store randomly

Another thing I love about this game is the people are people and the women are beautiful lol sounds weird but every other souls game has mutated women and odd people. I’d like more of a sense of community with these games I like having a central area to come back to and all the npcs and shops are there I love that.

I’ll be honest this is my favorite souls game. By far. What I love about this game is that the bosses don’t take more than 3 tries to beat. I’ve quit playing games cause I’m stuck at a boss. I don’t have endless hours to play just a few a day if I’m lucky so to be able to play the game and not spend 10 hours on a single boss is perfect.
