Great job show-casing this vast improvement to GRB by a modder. As to those spawning attack helos. I do believe/assume the mechanic for them (re-enforcement helos versus the patrolling helos) is to just spawn within a specific distance from your character. IOW there's no coding, as there are for the road vehicles which clearly have a pathway to your location, starting from a much greater distance.

Always wondered why the enemy AI never uses the APC (They didn't use it in Wildlands either). In Breakpoint, the APC and Apache are just sitting in the bases going to rust never used. Kudos to the modders keeping this game with loads of potential alive.

This will add a lot of realism and strategy. It also makes the game more like what GR is supposed to be, as it encourages you to get in and get out, rather than doing whatever you want. The drawback, if you even want to call it that, is that these great mods emphasize how broken the game is. "That just spawned out of thin air." That's basically what I saw in GRW, except I was on the ground; so, it was a bit farther from me. The game would be so much better if the QRF spawned 1km or more away. I'd rather see one strong chopper (HP-boosted Little Bird or Apache depending on the base), with a long cooldown, using real tactics and a huge pool of ground troops than have infinite helicopters frequently spawning (even if off-screen.) I know the modders haven't figured out how to change AI-behavior yet. He said the radio men do patrols in the world.

Just mod it today and chose the enemy wolves the whole island is full of wolves and the mini gun I change it to 50 cal it’s better then mini gun!

Would be even better if someone made a mod that alters enemy ground troops to be more tactical and vehicle drivers not ramming into each other like that cluster that happened in your video. Also assignable Classes for your AI Teammates.

Definitely looks like a needed gameplay mechanic.

I really hope they don't go to first person shooter I hate those and I will probably not be playing the game anymore if they go to that.

4:21:22 No. Your stamina got depleted to zero. You can't swing with your knife you have no stamina. The more weight you have in your equipment the more stamina will get depleted once you do some action.

The higher your weight the harder is it to run...walk fast do anyhing...i cant believe people in the chat seem like noobs haha

Dude when you where at the section you couldnt move and couldnt stab...you were over encumbered and your stamina was depleted..i cant beleive no one told you...if your weight turns red you cant move..and you cant spam the knife...you have to watch your stamina lol

Ghost Recon started as a first person game. This is just a mod, hopefully next installment with natively have both 1st and 3rd. As they are both good

Hmm, I’m looking at all the old comments and maybe I’m just being cheap lol, thinking on whether to get standard or gold edition as it’s only £16.99 now on the current sale. Never played any Tom Clancy games before and haven’t enjoyed any modern shooter since the original mw3 and BF4. Just very recently bought the newer MW2 (2nd hand of course) and discovered you can play in 3rd person which was fun as it reminded me of Socom 3 and then I thought about this game. I imagine I may as well just get the gold edition at that price. Is the gold edition for Wildlands also worth getting? Thanks in advance.

Wish I hadn't missed most of the stream G. At 9:51, regarding getting up Sugar Loaf Mtn by foot. I took up the challenge and it is possible, but it's so darn slow and completely wastes your time as you end up at the small clearing on the north side in any event (thus totally unsuited for streaming), where you can land a helo unseen. From that spot you can climb up the remaining rocks with just a little effort, to the back (north) side of the upper sniper tower, thus having the high ground. Of course a road would have been required IRL in order construct the site, but noooo ... 😛🤫

Update on this, not yet patched on Nov 2024! There's an easier and quicker way, no need to go to Erewhon to get grenade launcher or use hand grenades. Just use your helicopter! Before arriving to the cliff with burning helicopter crash, get your own helicopter which have miniguns or rockets. Closest one is just 1km away, to your north, in base called Anti-aircraft ruins, just run there and steal the chopper from platform, only need to kill couple of guys. Then fly back to the wreck, park your heli behind it, but not too far because you have to be able to reach it quickly by running. Then let Walker escape in his heli, go after him in your own helicopter and just shoot him down. He does not die in the crash, so you have to shoot him some more when he's in the ground. Try it, this works great! You are welcome!

it's bizarre i did the benchmark for this game got a S score...but the stutter just ruins the game...i never had this issue in wildlands..going to try this...but honestly Ubisoft dropped the ball..no denying it really..by the way i have this issue with all my processors on so will see so maybe it's the priority setting...*post fix...the game still stutters...its minor but noticeable...this game is just broken..and honestly i should not have to attempt fixes. That's Ubisoft's job...going to back to wild lands...it might be the fact that this game is online only that i get stutters no matter what...i think that is the issue..and yes i have windows 11..but the issue is definitely this game...
