Open world map, lively settings like Wildlands, good story, no futuristic super drones, better ai teammates, build on player mechanics taking the best from Wildlands and breakpoint is what matters to me

Mongolia sounds f'kin lit, it's got deserts, forests, snows... never comes to mind, my idea has always been a double or triple country map for variety but they sound like they got it with just one. We Wildlands fans eating good.
I'd love if they'd go back to the first Ghost Recon where you lead a large squad of like 16 or 24 operatives in a massive open world where you position your troops in strategic positions
Central Asia/Mongolia sounds like an incredible setting for the next game. Now - no gear score, no overly futuristic gadgets, and for the love of Clancy, NO DRONES.

There i s no "no Drones" anymore in any Conflict - Every Special Unit has them in their Invetory
Even the filthy Cartells in South America are usin them..
Better have believable enemies that use optics at night. No cape wearing, skull helmet, enemies. No jeans & t shirt army. And ffs, make the Ghosts seem like actual tier 1 operators & not some National Guard clerks.
I hope the map feels alive this time around.

“Engaging and rich experience”. Literally what we want out of EVERY ubi game. They have a track record of bringing it so close and then squashing you right in the feels.

Mongolia will be nice, it has so many diverse biomes, it will be like Wildlands again in Bolivia. Fortunately for us, I don't think there are too many robots roaming around in those areas.

I was expecting maybe Chechnya but Asia could be a great setting for a ghost recon game
I want a ghost recon that takes the lively world elements of wildlands and breakpoints engine and weather mechanics. Less looting focus and more tactical gameplay focus. Decide if they’re gonna implement survival aspects or just forget it. But something very immersive lots of hud options and settings. Open world being able to set up camp anywhere like RDR2 would be sick.

A more real location is needed. I think this is on a good track if its true. Itll help with more action in jungle areas.

Ghost Recon is incredibly good, even with its bad launch, the game played in a tactical and realistic way, without hud with spartan mod, and an experience that no other game has, I wish it was more realistic and tactical, many mechanics that could take advantage from rainbow vegas 1 and 2, rappelling on buildings and windows, infiltrating doors using flash, camera under the door, c4 on the door, and many other mechanics that if placed in the open world ghost recon would be perfect, having a 3 person and 1 person mode , have multiplatform, and at least up to 6 players can play in the open world together, doing the campaign, if possible 8, sound of the most realistic weapons, without futuristic things like drones please, (Enemy drones) observation drone is part of the ghost recon a long time ago, and some other mechanics from the old ghost recon themselves, from metal gear solid that you should study and apply in your own way in ghost recon, such as the camouflage system according to the terrain, interrogation, points system with helicopters fixed on the maps, this is extremely realistic, many of Splinter Cell's mechanics are very good, a real base where you plan each mission, where you are going to go, where you are going to extract, maps of the base plan or the building of the mission, if they managed to research and study these mechanics and apply them in ghost recon, which is a perfect world for this, it would be very successful, a well-made story, a well-made map, without looking like an artificial map, more weapons and customizable equipment, they can make a harcade mode to capture different types of audiences, but they also create a more realistic choice of modes, such as spartan mod, instead of turrets and electronic automatic mortars, place enemies there controlling, instead of the behemooth, place enemies inside a tank, missions more elaborate, I recommend researching and taking a look at series in this style such as seal team, swat and applying it in your own way, what the entire community has as an opinion, is that if the breakpoint mechanic combined with the wildlands campaign and map would already be perfect, literally a ctrl c, ctrl v, that's what the faithful ghost recon community would like in a next game, like codename over, I'm Brazilian and I can say that this is definitely what the Brazilian community wants in a next ghost recon, Trust your faithful community.
The ability to play offline like Wildlands. No more futuristic drones or raids. And finally the end of Nomad. I hope they learned from their past failures.

Great vid man and good info. Back when Breakpoint came out Ubisoft shares were about as high as they've ever been- they were clearly coasting and under the impression that gamers are idiots who will consume any game that lets us blouse our boots. Copy paste games lost gamer confidence and eventually investor confidence. Failure after failure has followed and now the stock is scraping along the bottom and continues a downward trend. I couldn't be happier to see the rug pulled out from under them.
But now Ubisoft has become the underdog... and call it a curse but I always root for the underdog.
They've demonstrated a tremendous capacity to create great games in the past... the question is can the handsy, greedy, tone deaf, arrogant, talentless leadership get out of their teams' way long enough for them to do it again. Hoping Dull and Groans will be the last turd they pinch out- with any luck Ghost Recon will represent a resurgence of their innovative prowess!

IDK, sounds like Ubisoft is still making another 3rd person Farcry. It was ok for Wildlands, but I feel like a GR games should move pass that paradigm.

Ubi doesn't know how to create anything other than Far Cry/Assassins Creed. Every game follows those formulas. They ruined GR & I don't see them fixing it. Especially after improving Breakpoint, then saying the next title they're listening to the community. Just to announce a fps battle royal.
2025 is too soon, they can't make a good game in such a short time after Breakpoint. The latest update for Breakpoint was in 2021, and we're talking about Ubisoft here so they probably started on the new Ghost Recon in 2022. Actually they probably started in 2023, because it's Ubisoft. So that leaves them with 2 years of development? You know that's gonna suck big time. Red Dead Redemption 2 took over 8 years of development, MGSV Phantom Pain took 5 years.. The next Ghost Recon should be a proper game, i don't want them to rush. I don't want to hear about the new Ghost Recon until 2027-2028.

The next ghost recon needs to move forward and have mechs breakpoint map wild lands maps all dlc maps combined into one game... ai teammates active even in public matchmaking , everyone bring your team , 10 player lobbies or open lobby like gta5 more camera options we have over the shoulder and first person what about the third person shooters

@@GmoneyMozarthopefully later than sooner. They NEED to put in the work. Wildlands had 1 more year of development than BP & it shows. BP is missing so many little details that add up.
Being honest.
I may be in the minority (at least in the comments), but I hope that whichever Ubi studio is in charge lets the Ghosts have access to some near-future gadgets as part of their arsenal. Not make them just basic and ordinary. Wildlands was a really good game, but the lack of cutting-edge, advantageous hardware at launch just felt weird to me.
Doesn't mean it has to be Breakpoint 2.0 (at least with setting), but having access cutting-edge, near-future tech as a means of force multiplier and getting an advantage on your enemy is a major part of Ghost Recon's identity. Without that, this game may as well have you play as an existing Special Ops unit armed with existing gear or standard issue equipment. If this is Ghost Recon, I expect to play as Ghost Recon. That's my take.

let me guess: annoying female characters and vocies, constant internet connection like breakpoint, damage number overflow on hud and no options to turn it off, more wallhacks and cheat engine like skills, RGB skins, bullet sponge enemys while you get one shoted, "micro" transactions and battle chest, battle royals....
