What, no cowboy hats, flashy clothes or rainbow colored guns?, oh man!
I know right…how boring
The Steam page has quite a bit of info. in it, they state: "Embrace the challenges of a true tactical FPS with extensive weapon customization and actual ballistic simulation. In this high-stakes environment, every decision counts, and every fight could result in the loss of your hard-earned gear and progress."
Also, sounds like there is multiple ways to play: "Navigate a vast open-world setting alone or in a squad. Adapt to your surroundings, use tactics to your advantage, and fight against other human operators and AI-controlled enemies."
Definitely keeping my eye on this. So far they seem to be saying and showing the right things. They just have to do like you say and give us a bit of a deep dive into mechanics.
Reminds me a lot of Wildlands
The next Ghost Recon needs to be look this good😍
Fr
Can’t wait for this one. Looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
we def gonna get into this bro. I hope it doesn't disappoint.
Damn, it looks amazing 😊
Looks good so far
Keep pushing the heat !! They gotta be knowing that DA G is checking on the @$$ !!
this game looks dope bro. Def checking on it ;)
You nailed it (in my opinion) regarding how important it will be in how this new game handles death and its possible repercussions. From someone who sunk a LOT of hours into Wildlands and Breakpoint (& COD a bit) and about a year ago found my way into DAYZ and got HOOKED on that PVEVP tension…the “threat” of in-game death is massively important to me now. After doing meat grinder gameplay on COD multiplayer (& many of the GHOST RECON missions), once I experienced the thrill/paranoid-worry of playing for hours (or having a character save for weeks) in DayZ and not wanting to lose my gear from someone silently sniping me, and/or being cautious with every door I open because another player *might* be waiting to kill me and steal my acquired gear/loot? It’s a tough in-game system to forget when you return to any PVE-only games. At least for me! I’m not trying to pick a fight with anyone who feels differently ✌🏻
I’m also on PS5 and know this game will most likely only be on PC sadly, but it looks great and I hope it delivers what a lot of people want. Cheers, and good video and analysis GMoney✌🏻
Thanks jim! You're spot on with the tension that hardcore deaths bring to gaming. I'm not sure where this game is going to go with it's gameplay but I really want to find out. Also yes, it is only on PC as of now. You have to save those pennies and get a pc bro! lol
@@GmoneyMozartHa! Indeed! It’d make my brother in law happy too as he’s a PC gamer as well. But MY GOD, the manual dexterity and vastly different brain-to-hand reflexes required to play on a mouse and keyboard feels like trying to learn a foreign language to me when I’ve tried 😂
@@jimd1001 lmao I get that. As far as indy games goes I'm not sure how well they will incorporate controller but most AAA games on steam have controller support. So you can still be pc master race and use a controller ;)
@@GmoneyMozart See, THIS is the kind of info a console-goob like me needs to know 😉 Thanks for the tip
It sounds as if you’re describing a good tactical shooter. The first GR has lethal enemies and permanent deaths. Though it allows restarts, a modern version would have a mode that disables restarts. It makes you intently focus when you know a single bullet can turn a tranquil walk into death and fear. In the new GR games, I would sprint around without care or thought, even in the mode that wipes your save.
We need that more realistic shooters. No more spending dev resources making purple haired people and flower picking and special trees are all that BS
aint that the truth
more importantly - no monsters, aliens or god damn zombies.
wow..just wow...seem fun
Allowing for modding so someone can create permanent servers where people can make bases and do raids would be awesome.
That’s sounds like too much for modders. What do you mean by making bases?
AA studios are realy pushing it with the new milsims...
GROUND BREACH
READY OR NOT
TARKOV
ARMA getting a new update
Now this...
At this point who needs Ubisoft
Hopefully they’re cooking something up for us
I would like it to have a 3rd p option
would be great but prob not going to happen.
I'm going to assume they'll have 10-24 players per instance and fill it with pve npcs. That loadout is exactly like Tarkov.
I’m hearing 3 teams of 16 with 4 player squads.
@@GmoneyMozart than the map is going to be huuuuge.
It is absolutely paramount that they put a good AI anti cheat into the games core engine. Games like escape from tarkov are dying because of cheaters. I believe it has something to do with the game engine or something 🤷🏻♂️ ,hopefully developers will learn from this and make anti cheat one of their top priorities!
This is also true so we’ll have to wait and see what’s up. Especially if the PvP is a big part of the game.
I’m intrigued but the fact the game is supposed to be PVPVE means there won’t be any campaign or narrative, so probably just an extraction shooter at best. Cool to see what they are doing but I don’t think it will be what I want
According to the Steam page it does sound like there is a story. Youre sent into an island in Southeast Asia after a mysterious event leads the island under quarantine. You are sent in to investigate and uncover what happened.
I'm concerned about the game loop - what's the point of the game? And how will the devs keep us playing the game?
My questions exactly. Which is why I said the next video needs to be about the game loop/mechanics. What is the actual gameplay going to be?
It looks empty, but the pretty graphics gets the mindless consumers hyped.
@@Go_Coup I think this one might be a big hit and miss. It'll take extensive work to have a good game loop and to have a world that players are actively engaged in.
Of course not available on console 😤
lol like most indy dev games. If this is the type of games you enjoy you have to be on pc.
@@GmoneyMozart yeah that’s true. PC is just unbeatable when it comes to the variety of games to choose from. But I prefer the gaming experience of my PS5. This is why I love GR so much because it’s the style of game I want to play and it’s on all platforms. Now I’m just waiting for the first GR to be in fpp
@@ViperrX88 see if you had pc you could be playing it in first person! lol
It's too early. I'll judge it once it pass the finish line. Hopping on the hype train early with these early access indie game is always a bad idea. I don't want another Tarkov that's perpetually in development.
Also it looks like it won't scratch that itch that Ubi left with GR. Probably coop only.
And in terms of weapon animation, I believe it was MW 2019 that lift the bar for the industry, especially for AAA studios. Indie games did not have this much sway and production quality.
Bullets cracking and snapping was in BF3, BF4 and the new MW series(I believe), which all had decent to even great audio design.
I'm the Napolean3 guy who was in the chat during stream sometimes, just in case G got confused. YT just shows your real name tag instead of your nick name in the comment section now.
@@napowolf ahhhh ok lol
Ya the always in early acces/beta hell is def real. But it's how these indy guys can make a buck while still building out the game. I do agree with you though. And ya, I want that dope ass audio design.
We'll see how it turns out. Supposedly it's coming out q1 2024 so it's right around the corner.
Not to poop in the path of the parade, but I see no reason to be excited. It’s another studio that is focusing on graphics more than anything. It makes sense for marketing, but I don’t need another early access game that’s years away from being interesting, especially when open-world games don’t work as well. I see nothing new, only some elements taken from other games and thrown together so that the different consumers can see their favorite element and “think” they need to purchase the game.
I dunno it could be a fun pvpve game.
@@GmoneyMozart , you don’t play Tarkov.
Stream more stop putting videos out stream more!!!!!!!!!! Lol
Lmao I got you
