I absolutely love the old school 300zx turbo...I have a fun story related to this car while growing up...my very close childhood friend came from a relatively wealthy family so he grew up spoiled...and his school grades reflected it, lol...well anyway, when he was a junior in high school going into his senior year, his father asked me to help him study and get a decent score on his SAT. He scored a 1070 his first time and it wasn't looking good...so I spent a good 3 months prepping with him and studying pretty hard and dedicated...well his second test, he scored a 1310. His father was so happy, he bought him a 300ZX twin turbo. It honestly made both of our lives because it felt like we achieved it together. He even gave the car to me for the first month of ownership because of how happy he was. We had a lot of fun driving it over the years. He finally had to scrap it at 186k miles due to catastrophic issues...but we often talk about our younger years driving around in the Z.

I went with the Sport. an LSD isn't worth ten grand. I'll buy one later and slap it on. I can buy the Nismo GT series LSD for about $1,500 and with my buddy and myself having a crack at it, it should work. I just pay him in beer. While it's up on the hoist I'll put a Stillen catback exhaust on it, and the Nismo CAI's both to let the thing sing a little better. All told the parts come out to roughly $3,600.

370z better, also has more timeless body lines idk where you get your info but 350z has a sedan type rear end whereas the 370z slopes down just like the original 240z. The worst part of the 350z is the rear end and has not aged great. The more aggressive look on the 370z still looks like it could’ve came out brand new today

muffler deletes (by themselves) aren't the real issue on these cars....RESONATOR deletes/straight pipes is what makes them sound so bad. Resonators/mufflers of some sort are 100% necessary for VQs. I had a 3.7 VQ with just a muffler delete that sounded great and always got compliments, no complaints. My brother had the same car straight piped and it sounded like canned ass lol. People literally covered their ears when he drove by and got HOA complaints to the point where he had to re-do the whole exhaust where he eventually replaced the muffler delete with vibrant resonators and a resonated mid pipe. Sounded night and day better.

Blacked out headlights and tails on the 370z and color matched door handles = night n day difference You can also upgrade the stock projectors to the morimoto d2s 4.0 or 5.0’s or brt leds… much better lighting than the fresnel style projectors… Morimoto offers upgraded taillights for the 370z that look great on dark colors…
