I am going to wait for the Nismo Z to come out.
That will probably be a good two years even then expect it to be limited with a 6 figure price tag.

@@joshlamar1990 Those are the crazy dealerships taking advantage of the limited amount of Z's that are coming in and price jacking it because they CAN and they know those with deep pockets will pay to have it.
A Proto Z sold here in my city sold for $130k .... bank wire transfer and the owner had a truck come get it to deliver it to his state.
So those with $$ will always win.
Sad part is the owner of the dealership takes this $$ and not the salesman or the finance guy.

The reason is the same BMW quotes for using only the auto in the M3/M4 Competition - track experience.
The SECOND Gen 300Z is their best looking car ever. Nissan has yet to top it.

This Nismo Z is a more race track oriented version. It looks like Nismo is more intetested in quicker laptimes on a road course than driving pleasure. After all. Everyone knows modern automatics are way quicker than manuals.
i’m back 😈, I truly love the Z the body kit makes it a little more aggressive, It’s the little things that matter on this car!
Z Nismo has to have a 6 speed manual and upgraded suspension and exhaust for me to buy it.
I’ll just buy nismo bodykit for my manual z if that’s the case 😂

Everyone talks about manual transmissions, no one in reality drives them, they're not practical
It makes even less sense on a Nismo model, you're paying for more performance, but you want a manual transmission so you can't use the car to its full potential? what's the point?
The automatic will always outperform the manual in speed, so it makes sense to have an automatic on a high performance version of the car
Nissan knows this, they know people who cry about manual transmissions online make up a minority of buyers
Yet all other companies(toyota, ford, cadillac, porsche, and bmw) are giving their performance oriented vehicles a manual option.
Nissan propped up this car for coming with a manual transmission available, and benchmarking vehicles in it’s class that were superior against the z as Nissan had no intention on the z being a competitive offering. Now that they want the car to be competitive, they ditch the manual because “numbers” and apparently there is no way they could make their transmission competitive against other cars in it’s class.
Let’s be real, Nissan isn’t giving this car +100hp, if anything, form recent rumors it will have 15/20 at best. The previous Z nismo models had manual transmissions available(with 40% of the 370z nismos being a manual), and there plenty of performance oriented vehicles that the z nismo will have to compete with that has a manual option available. This isn’t Porsche’s RS trim, Their is no excuse for the Nismo model to ditch the manual option.

This is not a na motor, this is a TURBO motor so they can EASILY get 50 more hp just by a simple tune, as its been already done, ~100 hp alone just with a tune and not even E85.

Automatic is the fastest and NISMO knows this.
They want the manual so they can look cool in front of their friends.
I own a 5 speed manual 240sx, i love it, the shifting IS fun at 1st but does get old.
My 370Z is automatic and i love it as well but the automatic NEVER gets old.
My MKIV Supra is also automatic and i love it, never gets old.
Auto is just better. Driving a manual is just more work for less speed. I'm tired of hearing about manuals
If your serious about driving any decent sports car.you would pick a manual.
Most people who buy them drive them to work and back.
And wouldn’t even know how to get the best out of there car anyway.
They buy to look good most of them couldn’t drive there finger up there arse.
