Good video, would love to see some content on the manual transmission feel. There has been lots of content talking about 2nd gear grind, especially under hard acceleration. There's a recall for it in the US and everything. I know a lot of owners or potential owners are worried about the grind and its putting people off the car. Let us know how it is for you?! Put our minds at ease!

@@keepcarsfun No real problems. But I fucking hate the whole gear box and clutch feel. Super soft, not direct, hard to find gears and no firm engagement point.
Greetings from Nz. I'm getting my manual proto next week. Can't wait. 1. In a USA advertisement, I noticed a map displayed on the virtual display. Is this possible? 2. How Effective is the noise cancelation from the Nose stereo? Does it make it quieter?

1. No way to get map other than through Apple car play in the centre screen. Car has no built in Sat-nav at all in Aus models.
2. I wasn’t even aware of noise cancellation tbh didn’t notice it in audio settings. I’ll check next time I drive it.

@@MattJelonek Have no idea because we don’t get them in Australia. Don’t know how easy it would be to get a unit tbh. Probably pretty hard as they can’t even make the cars themselves. Nothing really planned at the moment just enjoying it in stock form for now.
Love my proto z too but really wish the sport dash also showed outside temperature and time!
Let’s be real people buying this car aren’t really in it for the tech. It’s for the Z legacy and driving

Mate I’m doing a fat run at mount Nebo and Samford tonight. Cootha is fun but it’s full of cyclists and it’s too easy to lose your license. I Still speed there tho…
it's dated. they waited too long with release of this car. if it was released in 2017 it would be great but its dated for today standards.
