btw you have a cage that is way to small for the bird, the perches arent natural wood perches and the reason this matters is because their feet can hurt very bad if the perch is smooth, also dont put mirrors in your cage. No hate, just tryna help :)

I recommend to get a bigger cage and some toys and put some natural wood in there and you should feed them pellets because seed mixes are not that good because they have seeds seeds are for treats/training and I recommend getting millet spray for training/treats you should do research as well

I always cut my doodle’s hair and then bathe her too for the exact same reason, I know groomers do it the opposite but I refuse to bathe her then deal with having to wait for her to dry up and then putting her through the haircut. It’s so much easier and makes more sense to cut then wash them

Make sure to get a variety of perches for your bird not just wooden dowel perches. They can get arthritis from that, also one thing to remember is to never use plastic perches because they are to smooth. Also may I suggest that you could go to petco and get some natural wood perches. Other than that it seems your budgie has gotten used to u👍 Keep up the great work
