I get the same reaction when my two budgies are chirping, It just warms my heart.
Heeeeyy not sure if you knew but if a bird is to groom near you it means that they feel that they can be off guard, this is a huuuge sign of trust and it means that you have started off really well! Keep in mind that no matter what… keep playing with him and you will have full trust! You are starting off so well! I feel that you have done so well!

Thank you so very much for this video! It’s been difficult for me to handle my albino budgie since her mate passed away. Of course, I am mediately got her a new playmate, and they just had babies. The sixth one was born yesterday. I will be using all of your steps to regain her trust and develop a wonderful relationship with all of the budgies! Stop worrying about your house. It is lovely and you are beautiful! It’s so nice to watch someone with such a caring heart and obviously loves and respects animals. P S. Your baby is gorgeous.

Such a happy birdie boi.. I'm working with my new budgie too. I'm trying to film him every time he does something cute. But he is a very smart boi. He even figured out how to open the door to his cage. That's bad,but he is eating and seems to like music.
Parakeets are wonderful I have 2 parakeets chipper and Chico and they bring me joy daily

This is not insight into what to expect at all. It has nothing to do with what she does (even tho she is doing a great job and all the right steps and waiting FOR birdy to be ready). It ALL depends on the individual bird. Some birds are like him and they can adapt and bond with you quickly (no matter the age..even babies can take months too) OR they can take weeks or even months and some cases YEARS of Doing ALL that she is doing but just takes longer and more patience. She just happens to have a VERY EASY going bird. Most budgies wont be this easy. So please don't expect it to be like HER and her BIRD's unique experience. Cuz i know it can DISCOURAGE many ppl if THEIR budgie doesn't adapt so quickly like this guy. It all depends on the temperament, gender, personality, age and character of each budgie... not too much on the owner. The owner only waits for the budgie to be ready for next steps like she is doing. It doesn't happen this FAST for everyone. I'm telling you. But I DO suggest a YOUNGER budgie. They are always a safer bet than adult budgies.
I just got my budgie today and his name is…… Barry 💚 he’s green and yellow he was very calm and he just on chill mode I played budgie bird sounds and he came alive started flying round the cage and was starting to become quite the chatter box can’t wait till are bond grow ❤️💚
Just got my Budgie today! I’ve had him for about 2 hours now. He’s really scared, which I expected. His name is Skye, and he is blue and white. He is a little on edge, so I put the cage cover over is cage so he can sleep when he wants. I’m so excited to have him.
Edit: Just got another one. Turns out I have two girls, and they are becoming great friends already

I have this problem. I got 2 budgies in march 2021. They trust me a lot now they will come to me if I put my hand near them. They will eat out of my hand and one of them will fly to my hand If I Have millet ( This is the present they didn't do this in the past.). I've trained her already to come to me without millet and I reward her later. So the problem is Taking them out of the cage. After 2 months of getting them I decided to take one of them out. When bringing her out she jumped out to the ground and started calling for her friend. Her friend was very scared and was calling for her. I put the cage down and she jumped back into it. That was 5 months ago though. I know the problem is that they are attached to each other and want to be together. They will reject food outside of the cage if they are seperate. If they are together and outside of the cage they will eat. Before their wings were clipped but now they are fully grown and they can fly. They trust me way more now. They are afraid of everyone but me so i cant get anyone elses help. So I need advice on what to do now. I don't want them being in their cage forever. Any Help?

I got 2 budgies blueberry and banana blueberry steps up When there is millet this is their 4th day with me and banana kinda steps up they are very scared of coming out tho so this helps alot i will update the comment when i get some progress on getting them out

Heey awesome vid! Im glad I stumbled across your channel. I got my first budgie a week ago, first day he was so shy! he's now comfortable eating from my hand and always full of energy 😄 He has spent his first week in his cage, do you think he is ready to venture out of his cage? How would you recommend I let him out? Shall I rub his chest gently with my index finger and hope he hops on or is there a more specific way? Thanks for your time 👊🏻
I believe that's a Parrots cage. The spacing on the bars look like they are more than 1/2 inch apart..you should check and make sure. For budgies the bars should be spaced no more than 1/4 -1/2 inch apart..otherwise the budgie might get it's head stuck between the bars..watch Budgie World..What type of cage is best for budgies..on TH-cam...good luck!🥰

If you really would care for your budgie, you would get another one. A budgie alone is sad. They live in big groups in the wild in Australia. You have a cage that is large enough. Please give him a real friend..please.

Touch the cage really slowly with your hand until the bird doesn’t really care. Get some seeds or millet in your hand and slowly approach him. If he tries to bite you then it’s just because he wants to see how you’d react. And keep doing that until it eats from your hand. Then you can just try to get it used to your hand and your voice.
If it has pink or tan nose it’s a female 😀boys have blue noses and talk lots more than females

My tip from talking to others who have 2 is if you want them tame put them in different cage separate places and work on taming each by themselves once they are fully tame with you then slowly introduce them or else it will be harder to tame and you run the risk of only one being tame over the other ♥️♥️♥️wish you. @@BONDBEAUTYSJUNGLE ok! They were given to me and they have been together this whole time. I made huge progress today with both but they were kinda freaked out about being out of cage and flying freely about the house. They did seem to calm down more after i got them seperate. Otherwise one would be calm and on my finger and the other would fly and then they both were flying...lol...i am getting another cage tomorrow so i will separate and see how it goes. Thanks for the tips!

my budgie’s wings are clipped (the pet store did that) and i want to let them out. any tips and what to expect when their wings are clipped?
Just expect them to not be able to fly they can run into walls so you have to be careful and when they grow out it will be do awesome.
Why do you need a new bird when you have a dog and new baby??? Some people are never satisfied...
That cage is way too small!
No more budgie sounds it confuses them when they can not get to their budgies friends. Please no more, use gentle music instead or consider getting a budgie budgie for Davy. ❤

I can’t help myself from thinking that someday your bird will fly off right into your glass window and knocked herself out and die. This unfortunate accident often happen to the house sparrows just outside my window.
The cage is better,but it needs to be more wide than tall because budgies fly side to side, not up and down. I don't know what food you give him, but birds should have a pellet diet with lots of vegetables and fruits. I recommend Harrison's extra fine pellets for budgies.

The whole pellet thing is overrated and oversold, especially with budgies. Tops makes an excellent organic seed mix and many species need mostly seeds in their diet. People need to stop assuming that all species need pellets, as that’s mostly bigger parrots
