So confusing. Into a new apartment there’s no manual and all I wanna do is set the temperature and I cannot do it. I tried to follow his instructions and it didn’t work. Who on earth would want to go through all this to set the temperature- I just want set the temperature and HOLD it at that temperature!!! and change it when I want to change it I don’t wanna do all this this programming. The only person who might want to mess with this is someone in solitary confinement.

Is there any way to turn the fan off completely? Even when I set the Mode off the fan keeps going.

my ac kept going back to the scheduled times when i tried to keep it on permanent hold. house was constantly at 82 degrees and its 98 outside. absolutely miserable, hopefully this tutorial helps

How can the fan be turned “OFF”? When heat/cool is OFF and the fan is on AUTO, it still turns on from time to time. I want the system off completely, how can I set this?

nope, that doesn't solve noise issues of the filter bowing up and down when start and stops sadly.

So I think this should be split into two different topics. (do you have 2 thermostats and ONE unit or do you have 2 thermostats and TWO units) I have a home with a loft...and have one thermostat and my main big unit downstairs on the main floor...and one thermostat upstairs with a small unit dedicated to it. I have been trying to find the most efficient method to set my thermostats to ensure they are not working against each other...especially in the summer here in Louisiana!!! In the summer we generally have our main floor temp set at 73 depending on how damn hot the summer gets...so I was thinking of setting my main thermo to 73 and the upstairs at 75. (this is how I have it now) Is this correct?
