Hi Nicole! Like your drive 💪🏻 I decided to buy a hans Christian boat and start sailing to. I had a stroke 10 year ago tierd every day but you inspired me with your drive I had before my stroke,but I realize that I have 2 options. Today I day trade 30 minutes a day and my goal is to bye my boat and sailing 2025. Thanks for inspiration 🙏🏼❤️

TH-cam will sometimes throw you a video recommendation that’s completely off in left field compared to what you usually watch but sometimes what you get is amazing. Glad I caught your videos. You remind me so much of a girl I used to work with way back in the 90’s. We were best friends. We did everything together. Went to lunch every day, we car pooled, we went hiking all the time. But then she had an opportunity to start a new business and she left. I missed her so much. We had so much in common. Anyways. Nostalgia trip for me watching you work on that boat. She drove a Jeep and was always working on it. One of our coworkers owned a boat and we had to make an emergency trip to the lake to winterize it at lunch one day. A frost warning was coming. She and I rode in the back seat like a couple silly teenagers. Anyways. Best wishes and I’ll keep watching your progress.

Glad your fully mobile again .. and have made such great progress. Scrabbling around in trees seems to be a little like tempting fate but the world is full of all kinds of bonkers gal and playing around in trees is just mildly eccentric... even for a Brit. 😂🧙🏻‍♂️🇬🇧😉🏝️

I noticed when you were filming past the engine that the belt on the alternators is not on there right. it goes on the other side of the alternator pulley. Need to change it or will not charge the battery. Great job thanks for the video. Bless wishes on your future travels 😊

This is what was noticed in my tiny little life,as the Inside Passage was navigated,& Kodiak Island was hiked/explored upon. 🙏🦉 Good job with all your hard work. I'm impressed. When I see your videos, I can easily see future professions - videographer/editor, and fixing other people's boats in a harbor somewhere. That's only when you decide to live a quieter life. In the meantime, enjoy this life and remember to be careful.

Hope that wasn't solar charges screwed on to hull. Better on a board. Engine mountings really so important. Have to be 100% for emergency use. Needle files can file bent over threads. 2nd cut, bastard file handy to save spending. Keep good care of tools as out in the ocean that's all you have. Swimming will help knee but not to much.

Has anyone suggested to you that your propeller shaft is too long and should be shortened a bit, the longer it is the easier it will bend.

Oils not in used degrade with months. Change all of them. As well as belts..and practically all maintenance parts you can. This way you ll familiarize with engine procedures and will have clear idea when all was done on one starting date, hours, of engine. Keep eng log. Bests t care.

On my first boat with the diesel Kubota Phasor V1903 I found a valve at the bottom of the oil pan so oil could gravity drain from the lowest point. I liked that so much that I modified (welded) the oil pan in my current D2-40 with the same feature.
