Well I have to say Nicole you look just as beautiful when your all wet. To my way of thinking there is not much use complaining about rain, wind snow here, or anything else of nature, we can do absolutely nothing to change it, you showed us the best thing to do, get out and enjoy. There does come a point in time where it becomes very annoying, but again all we can do is accept. Your boat was still waiting for you when the rain stopped, you just had to spend longer up on blocks. Looking forward to seeing "Artha" back playing in the waves getting you wet with salty water.
Thanks for sharing your rainy day with that big smile of yours! A woman out walking in the rain and mud is a beautiful thing.😊 I can't believe that truck made it up that road in the mud, the ruts it made were deep! keep looking up, and keep making these great videos : )
It’s a really warm rain. The rainwater is warmer than the shower water, actually. I bet it’s freezing in BC though. And I’m excited for your first ever sail! I hope you have a great experience.
👍Thanks Nicole !....I enjoyed seeing you have Fun in the rain with your MOO mates ! Your videos are so Good, because they are so Ala-Natural ! Keep Hapoy and love from Australia ⛵🦘🇦🇺🌹
But Mom, it's wet out here. A former partner and I had a Pit Bull, better known as Pit Wuss. He would jump into a lake and run through a river. When it was raining he would stand on the sidewalk and put his tush over the grass to go so his paws wouldn't get wet. Go figure. It looks like here for rain (D.C. area). It's Saturday so it's rain time. Pretty view from the top. The cows had the international look of "got food?" Wet is one thing, safety is quite another and we much prefer you to be safe.
I laughed at your story about Pit Wuss. Too funny imagining it 😂 dogs are weird. The cows are super friendly but I keep my distance. Kaijin is a little dare devil though and will get up close and bark. It drives me nuts. I keep thinking one day he’ll get kicked in the face. I too prefer to be safe from cows and keep a wide-sh perimeter, as much as the road will permit. Thanks for commenting and watching
I remember being there at Christmas a few years ago when the rain came down so hard that within minutes everything flooded in our hotel but to the locals this was perfectly normal and in no time the rain stopped and the sun came out and it was like nothing happened. 😊
Yea! Lots of hurry up and wait. But I’m beginning to see big progress. Sometimes it’s hard to see my progress and then one day, it’s very obvious. I’m getting to that point right now. Safe sailing
Personal is private I know, but could you confirm briefly if you are in a better place these days. I don’t mean the DR. Not details, just a sentence for the folks who worry. Cheers.
Oh dear Nicole why is your woofer wearing a lampshade on his head, poor chap looks really fed up, yes when it rains in the West Indies it rains, l spent a fortnight on
He got Erichlichia from an old tick bite, probably right around the time I adopted him. Phase one of symptoms are noticeable. Phase two is asymptomatic. Phase three is when it gets bad. Thats when I caught it because he started bleeding out of his eyes. So he got put on a bunch of medication and to keep him from rubbing his eyes, he had to wear the cone of shame.
it must be very difficult to live next to a country which is having a anachie britain has had two i know about they killed lots and lots of human beings i cannot send money as i am still on the sick but i do think about not just you but a lot of beans i know are involved
Just helping that algorithm. Feeling for you having to spend so long living aboard on the hard. I've met a lot of kids who, like you grew up on a boat. And like you, they all seem to have developed two very useful traits. Persistence and resilience. You're gettin' there kid. Keep it up @@SailingArtha
@@SailingArtha I really feel for you having to live aboard while on the hard. I've done it and it sucks. At least you're on a path to realizing your dream. Something I've noticed about kids who grew up on boats; As a group, they tend to be resilient, persistent and resourceful. All good traits for dealing with running a boat and life in general. After watching many of your vids, I get the sense you have those qualities
rain is wet whereever you are. doesn't matter what country lol.
Haha yea!

Awh me too! And yea, I’ll be heading there next season, weather permitting.
You have a beautiful smile😇
Thank you!
Wow! That hill was really muddy.
Yea! When it starts to dry out, it gets really sticky and I get two inches taller because my shoes get two inches thicker.
Pretty tough getting any work done, huh? Fun video….thanks, Andrew

You mean what Another Rainy Day in the DR Looks Like
Haha yea that’s more accurate!
As depressing as in Michigan when it rains
Or yesterday in Kzoo watching it snow all day long ❄️ 😢
Ooofph, Michigan rain does sounds more depressing though because of the coooolddd. And then the flowers bloom!
Brr!
The cows rule
They do. They saunter down the road and come hang out with me and Kaijin at the beach. It’s so funny. I love the moo moos haha
That part by the hill looks like ky
That’s neat! I’ve only been to some parts in Kentucky.
I Love your video,s you are so good looking mmm........you are so cool....
Thanks
🇹🇷🇹🇷👍👍
😃
Can you live aboard on the hard?
Some yards allow it, others don’t. Lots of people stay on the hard here. It’s decently comfortable if you have an AC unit.
You better put on some makeup and high heels your about to get married 🎉
Curious as to what kind of camera you were shooting with in the rain?
I put my iPhone in a plastic baggie 😅
I have a 14 pro iPhone thanks to a Verizon $800 promotion trade in value
Personal is private I know, but could you confirm briefly if you are in a better place these days. I don’t mean the DR. Not details, just a sentence for the folks who worry. Cheers.
Hey thanks for checking up on me! Yea, I found some new footing and am excited about what’s to come.

Too much vacation and not enough work, you will never finish the boat 😢
A lot of “hurry up and wait” goes into boat projects 😂 don’t worry, I’m getting close to splashing.
