Also if you're looking for good supply for isometric sprites for testing purposes, FLARE and FreeDroid are two isometric projects with assets in open source. Flare is fantasy, but Freedroid is sci-fi so it might fit Doom style better if that matters.

Yeah at some point. The last merge got squished because it broke some things for other people. So I'm ironing it out.

Are you planning to release this source code and iwad examples? I'm amazed with this use of GZDoom.
They are both already pubic. Check out the github link in one of my other videos. This is still work in progress and I don't have all the updates from the gzdoom master branch synced up. I haven't pushed the fog of war code yet.

The Fog stuff hasn't been committed yet. If you want to play with earlier features, try the isocam_with_actors branch. This will not have the latest fixes from the gzdoom master branch. I plan to do a merge test later this month.

would it be somehow possible to create something like Fog Of War, unvisited sectors would be not drawn or be completely unlit? seeing the entire map is sort of cheating
You can cause that to happen in your maps by making the sector brightness zero, and brightening them with a script every time a player crosses certain trigger lines. To do it with any existing map ... I don't know. I'll have to think about it. I'd need to use something like the sound propagation code, I think.

I am incredibly excited for the future of this project and anything made using it. A remake of the Crusader games using this and updating the controls would be very exciting.

Character looks too big for the map scale.
It was just quickly used as a test. I'll work on a proper iso-mode pwad that should be able to convert any game on gzdoom to play like this. But the engine needs a little more work first.

Wow, looks cool! Crusader is on my top ten list of best games ever, I would pay for a new game or a port of the originals with smooth scrolling and possibly gamepad control. Back when games had good "Game Music" (Fantastic in Crusaders case) and original ideas.

Now this is cool, and better than that fucking myhouse.wad too that the entire doom community seems to worship as the best wad ever created (it's not, it's a crappy terry wad) I for one would love to play Crusader in Doom, especially if you can do slaughter wads this way.

It's called "Demo". It is from the "Crusader: No Regret" game.
Adding a way to fully hide secrets would be another great addition, I'm suggesting since I can notice the secrets through the walls. Regardless, this is extremely impressive.
Now that I think about it, this might be doable. Sectors do have tags for being a secret.
