Thief Master Builder stone relief sculpture (torch only loop)

A screenshot from a Thief 3: Deadly Shadows FMV cleaned up and used as a displacement bump map on a grid. 3D model file being tweaked for 3D printing or CNC milling.
The flat polygons with the straight edges depict man-made constructs and ideals, and contrast with the smooth curvatures and flowing designs of more natural forms. The human body is somewhere in between, asserting triumph over the tamed, frozen forms of fire. The flickering light indicates the small measure of chaos that is innate to the true nature of fire, still untamed but grudgingly tolerated.
Thinking of adding snow or rain, and pushing the point light location down to act like a camp fire.
