I don't think krin is garbage in war. There are only 6 characters that can tip off the enemies strategy and he's the earliest one available. Sure he fails sometimes, but it's a 50% free-roll to get vital info. If you ask me he's great in war!

I remember Suikoden 1 got the orognal disc still well 2 I think i played but sadly don't remember much of it but TRUST ME SUIKODEN 1 & 2 remaster/remake is my most antisipated Xbox Day 1 BUY this year unless Final Fantasy 7 REMAKE INTERGRADE comes to xbox Series X Physicallty then it a TIE and VANDAL HEART 1 & 2 PLAY them PEOPLE if u don't Hate TACTIC RPG's sadly I gave up on PLAYSTATION after psx/ps1Never had one After and I STILL DON'T!

The sprites not having been updated is a bit jarring its gonna take some getting used to 😅😊

Im so ready for this game especially since i just finished my 1st playthrough of suikoden 5 and have been playing eiyuden chronicles again 😊

After all these years, I didn't know Suikoden 2 still has more to offer. The only games I know that have NG+ during Suiko 2's time were Chrono Trigger and Legend of Mana. I wish Konami would finally finish this content in their remaster or whatever, and fix the bugs and mojibake texts.

I'll stream a walkthrough gameplay while translating to brazilian portuguese as lots of kids played but dont really know the history due to language barrier. The possibility to switch between classic and remaster is a must! (I hope they didn't fix the muse-matilda glitch)

Anyone have an update on if they changed those menu effect noises? If they didnt, im not buying it because they are so horrendous to listen to lol idk how they got through developing this remaster listening to that all the time

Viki is one of the enigma characters is all suikoden series, along with Jeane . only the creator of Gensō Suikoden series can tell you the full story of his characters but now we will never now. I remember they give you characters that can change the sounds of menu and window color in the first game but don't remember if that's the case in 2nd game. This is cool and all, but I hope there's a harder difficulty setting. I don't want bosses like this that barely pose a threat and can be killed in just 2-3 rounds lol. I remember killing Neclord in the first round before he even attacked so not going to be surprised if he still that easy.

Not trying to sound like a hater but I don't see how anyone can be exited for this, it's literally the same two games with SLIGHTLY better graphics, nothing even that significant to make me want to buy a remaster. I own and have beaten both over 15 times already. I honestly want to hear from you guys as to what makes this so exciting for you. What they needed to do is REBOOT the games in the same 2D style with different hero, characters, towns and map, and also allowing surprise cameos from the first two games. I WOULD LOSE MY FREAKING MIND. When they switched to 3D for the rest of the series it was just insanely corny to me. I hated the 3D style so much that after playing the third one for barely an hour, i stopped playing altogether and never finished the series. They should have kept the game in the 2D format for the entire franchise. That would have made the game even more popular

way way overpriced not only in preorders before it released, but now as well. tons of tactical grid-based rpgs out there that are 1/2 the price... grab those instead.

I knew guillaume would be garbage lol Also, kind of funny story I played this game years ago with my ex-boyfriend. I read a lot of the names as a child, and never heard any of them pronounced. He was like… how did you pronounce that!? Guillaume and Jacques are French. I butchered them. You did too. We are twinning lol I also really like hearing your choices and your reasoning. Especially with sharing some of the story and the lore and why you really appreciate them. I also have quite a spot for Luc, yun, and Sarah. Some of my favorites that you were not particularly fond of mainly for combat reasons are nei, shabon, yuiri. I also love shabon and sgt joe unite

Nice to see that they chose to show Rokkaku, in english no less, showing how far into development they are. Also the summit table scene is one of my favorite of all times. It really sets up important figures really well. Nanami's quote afterwards is golden too... "Sounded like a bunch of old men talking..." The Suikogaiden theme being played in Chaco's village 🥲
