I dont have any experience with table top rpgs, only video game rpgs, and one to try it. Will definitely try and start with this one because of how straight forward it is. Thanks for the great showcase.

I know I’m late to the party, but couldn’t you get a skill for every 3 enemies defeated? Maybe that would raise the odds

The combat in this game is really cool. The shift system is a lot more clever than I would have expected from a game like this.

I am confused, do the enemy AND PCs do full damage per hit, or just PCs and the enemy have to roll for damage? Something different??

@6:30 you go hunting and the better your combat skill, (which should be 8 by now, you are not starving) the worse your hunting skill? Really?? Yes, this is fun to watch, cause I keep expecting you to say "wait, hold on, I have been forgetting..." and fix your combat skill. OMG🤣😂😂 The curse of mindlessness😂😂 A 12 is REALLY good or REALLY bad.... Thank you so much.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one forgetting some of the trackers in my first playthrough! Really enjoyed the game and looking forward to playing again!

Never played 2d6 dungeon .. Do you recommend starting with realm ? Or starting with the core 2d6 first ?

This was one i had on my list of games i was actually going to buy. I just dont buy much because , A) i dont have much spare money, B) i never really get good times to play anything, C) Ive just been spending too much buying old vintage games ,trying to collect some interesting stuff, AND i havnt even worked on those or played the ones i spent all the money on yet. Lol Because some of these games i bought are like restoration projects,or games i want to make modified custom improvements to ,to make them better. I have a huge backlog of old game magazine games files that i want to build my own versions of also, but i have to invest in a good printer, but still trying to decide what the best one for printing gaming pieces ,cards,tokens,etc. Anyway, i saw Dungeon Dive do several reviews on Paupers Ladder ,the different expansions and such and thats the first one that got me intrigued about this, that it might be something i might find consistently interesting enough to spend time playing it, instead of it just becoming another big expense that sits in a stack of gameboxes collecting dust.

My wife luckily has to travel to the UK quite frequently from the US for work... I'm already planning on making a big Bedsit Games purchase ahead of her next trip for her pick up from a coworker and lug home to save on shipping.

Damage dealt by wights always wounds, so you should have taken that King as damage, unless you block the 8 or kill the wight beforehand. You were set with the queen 😭

I have this game and have tried to play it but it baffled me.

Creative but tiny and a deck is really random.

Great playthrough and great design for a dungeon crawler with standard cards.
