Hello, friends! Apologies for unrelated question. Can anyone of you suggest a game I could play with my mom when I visit her? Something whimsical, cozy or positive? It doesn't have to be a co-op, we can play a solo game together. I've thought about Village Emporium.
@@andrewmarkowski308 No worries - glad you found some fun games! I keep meaning to play the other game from the designer of Hall of the Dwarven King - looks similar but your creating a wizards tower or something :)
I LOVE the art style and use of cards in this game but I’ve never taken a liking to Mork Borg’s roll-under system. I prefer Grey Gnome Games’ use of stamina as a resource you can spend to roll damage dice
Perfectly understandable - I love the stamina as a resource approach in Jason's games - such a clever mechanic and it really gives you a meaty decision every time you have to fight something.
A curse and a question Curse - dammit Lone Adventurer, yet another one to buy. Very much like Cy//Korg (which I also bought thanks to you *shakes fist*) Question - ...where might I source those cool-looking cards? Asking for a friend with an impulse control problem...
Yeah sorry about that :D Hope you're enjoying Cy//Korg (and looking forward to Korg - Scars of Silvos, the next game from the designer - apologies to your wallet!). The cards are made by Bicycle - you might have luck googling 'bicycle dragon cards' or just checking out other cool designs they have. Fair warning - they are very 'slip-slidey' since they are proper playing cards. Can be irritating sometimes, though they do look cool!
What a blast that was great hehehe
I can't decide whether the game, or that jazzy shirt your sporting, is the thing keeping my attention!!? 🤷♂️😎😂... Cracking video as per! 💪
Haha, its kind of a hippy hoodie - my new favourite item of clothing :D What can I say - I'm a trend-setter!
Fantastic adventure! Quite the roller coaster right at the end.
Definitely a fun version of this game system. I too enjoy the card draws to help keep things mostly fresh in each room.

Maybe Luchador Hero or Hall of the Dwarven King 🙂
@@lone_adventurer Thank you! I'll check them out!
@lone_adventurer Came back to say that Hall of the Dwarven King was the best pick with Village Emporium as close second. Thanks again!

This looks great (off to purchase now), your hat looked even better! Do you know of any Wild West themed solo games which use the 'Dark Fort' system?
I don't know of any! A gap in the market, me thinks...
