Thanks for the shoutout! Kal-Arath is indeed excellent. Since you mentioned Mammoth Miniatures, I thought I should mention they produce a really neat skirmish ruleset called Planet 28 that you might be interested in (and if you're interested in that, Space Weirdos/Sword Weirdos are good too!)
Quite the selection! Thank you for featuring CRIME-FIGHTING LUCHADORES. Your maps are great and add so much to the game! I do plan on writing additional material for Luchador Hero.
I have Vaults of Vaarn and Knave 2e and they're both fantastic tools. But this is my first time seeing Dungenerator and Doom Pilgrim, and i might have to add those to my collection.
Doom Pilgrim is unique and worth checking out (the designer is crowdfunding a mini tin version very soon - might be a good way to get into it) Have you played any Vaults of Vaarn solo?
Thanks for presenting DOOM DEEPER in such a good company, my friend! The way how you showed a bit of narrative and art is also excellent. Love your approach to game videos!
Love these game hauls! Thanks for sharing. First I've seen of Vaults of Vaarn and The Seeker of Valenreath, they look excellent! Have Kal-Arath and am working up the courage to play it! As you say, being a bit seasoned with solo play is ideal.
The die in a dungeon/ dungenerator cards look interesting and look like there is some great replayability there (and seem to be great value). I’ve got my backing on it on kickstarter (digital version)
Is there particular shops worth looking at? Was in Edinburgh yesterday and both the game shops there (Black Lion and Ancient Robot) have great ranges, but they're a bit of a hike to get to, I'd like to support bricks and mortar shops when possible.
For stuff like this? Not to my knowledge 🙂 At least not in the UK. Over in the US I suspect it's a different story. A lot of stuff like this tends to be produced by independent creators who have to handle the logistics of getting their stuff into stores themselves (not to mention production of the stuff in the first place). As a result, you're more likely to find them in webstores (often indie webstores, so as morally defensible as brick and mortar stores imo) or on services like gamecrafter.
...maybe if you know the cards really well, it would lose a little. But really the game expects you to become familiar with the cards. Once you know them a little, you can start to make informed decisions about which cards to pick. In order to do well, you have to have some familiarity with the cards.

No worries! Interesting....I was looking at their site, wondering what the other games were like. I'll try to check them out at some point!

That's awesome news! Looking forward to it already 🙂

@@lone_adventurer no, but I've used it as an idea generator when running something like Into the Odd for my friends.
@@carltonbauheimer Ah nice! Must have led to some crazy happenings in your games 😆
Thanks for the shout-out! Awesome video!
My pleasure!!
Thanks for checking out Kal Arath! Hope you get a chance to play it.
No worries - it's so cool and great to see you supporting it and adding more stuff! I'm pretty confident I'll be playing Kal-Arath before too long 🙂

Thanks Warclaw and you're welcome for including - can't wait to get into the new Door Pilgrim content!

Glad you found out about some new bits! It would be great to see some Kal-Arath on your channel!
I'm looking forward to getting my copy of Kal Arath, and Dungenerator, they look really good!
Dunno how you find time to play games 😉 but yeah - those are two excellent products you've picked there!
@@lone_adventurer the sad truth is that i haven't played a single game the whole year, that wasn't one of my own for playtesting purposes...
I'm not surprised! But you should try to make a little time. Treat yourself 🙂
@@lone_adventurer I try! I have League of Dungeoneers and 2D6 Realm here on my table ready to go, let's hope I can give either a go soon, haha.
You are right: there are definitely ways to use some assets from Lucha Libre Extravaganza into Luchador Hero!
Thumbs up on the maps for Lucha Libre!
Thank you kindly!
I really shouldn't watch this video when I have a fresh paycheck to exploit....
I timed that quite well, didn't I?

would love to see more about vaults of vaarn maybe a little playthrough
Awesome video! Love these reviews- I just need more money…
I enjoy your breezy presentation style! Have you looked at Silver Nightingale's "Solo Toolkit"
Thanks! Yeah I've heard of it - I've had the itch.io window for it open in my browser for a few weeks 😁 have you used it? Do you recommend it?
Well there goes my money…
Apologies :D

So with doom pilgrim, is it a game where when you k ow the cards, it loses some playability?
