I think all three garments are fabulous and look great on you. I have already made the PE bubble sleeve top and can't wait to make more. I have the shirt pattern and need to make one soon. I think the jumpsuit is a pattern I need to add to my collection!

Sad to loose your mum I lost my mother over 20 years ago and still miss her (we both sewed and shared ideas). Be kind to yourself it takes time. Also, feel for your dad I have also lost a partner. Love your videos. Thanks

Great makes Deb. The Gallah fabric looks stunning on you, it really makes you glow 🌞. The All In shirt fabric I think is Lady McElroy cotton. I had the black base with white ladies on it. Unlike your make mine was a complete disaster!!! Well, its on the naughty pile for now until I decide if I can bring myself to give it another go. I MAY go back to it 😄. Will be interested see how your non-attatchment goes this year, I hope its a big success for you 🙋‍♀️.

Happy new year. I have the balloon leave top cut out. Yours looks lovely. Love the shirt fabric. My word for last year was “pray”. It did remind me to be more pray full. This years word is “scripture”.

Love these makes! And look at that matched seam in the crotch! Impressive Deb! Love the print you used for the tailored shirt. How about the clear, plastic snaps between at least two buttons? It might keep the fabric from moving just enough to keep them from unbuttoning, and, they’re cheap and a quick hand sew. Nonattachment! A word I don’t know if I’d thought about much. Attachment can be a very painful word, so not being attached much be painless or not so much pain. I think of the loss of your mother. Also a very populated section of California is on fire right now. People are being evacuated by the thousands, and I keep hearing about the things they’re forced to leave behind, and your word comes to mind. I’m so happy to see you’re back to sewing and moving forward!

Ho no I once had a lovely sexy jump suit in black with a tie front and cuffs but what I didn’t count on was going to the loo ,my boyfriend thought I’d deserted him and I’d also had a hell of a job trying to keep the top half from dragging on the wet floor ,so ime afraid it’s NEVER AGAIN for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Awesome makes, Deb! I love your choices of fabrics. Funny enough, a shirt similar to yours, is my first project on my mind for the new year. I also love the balloon sleeve and can see it in my future. We will eventually be headed into spring and summer here in the Great White North. My word will be "de-clutter" which is sort of related to your "non-attachment." De-cluttering has been simmering in the back of my mind for several weeks, now. Focusing on it one day at a time will allow me to get rid of things gradually without being overwhelmed. I live in an apartment and de-cluttering will allow me to free my mental as well as my physical space. Happy New Year, Deb. Sewing is therapeutic and grief comes and goes. ❤ Bernadette

Your jumpsuit looks fabulous, if your buttons come undone, next time do the button holes horizontal and they won’t come undone when you sit down for a long time, or you pick up a baby or child, they lock into place better. Deb. So sorry for you loss, still dealing with the loss of my father just over 2 years ago. It’s hard. So hard. I was my dad for my mum so I was the everything for her. And yes the form so many forms the cutting off on the bank accounts the everything. The pain we have the tears we have - even now… I can still cry when I talk about him and the loss I have. I did knitting when dad was in hospital and I was with him. We have missed you. I totally get exactly what you say about talking to everyone and how we miss that. I’m here if ever you need to vent hun always ❤❤❤❤ ❤

I look forward to see the red sweater finished. I have never been able to knit a sweater that fits. My swatches are always perfect, but then when I knit the sweater or vest, it turns out HUGE. Grr. Its a strange kind of relationship... but it is a genuine relationship. My condolences to you on the ,OSS of your mother. I lost both my parents already, within 4 months of each other, and we lost my oldest brother recently too. It certainly is a journey. Sending you my love, take care and I'll see you again soon 🌻. Dear Deb, I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I know exactly how you feel. My husband passed away in August and I still haven't finished with forms. I agree with what you say about 2024, good riddance to it I'm glad it's over. 2025 has got to be better. You take good care of yourself too😘

Condolences 🙏 understand what you're going through! we recently lost my father in law aged 90 and mum in law is in a home also keep strong and a bit of sewing here and there does help
