My favorite also. Though I've played it so much that I'll likely not want to again for 8 years or so. I've done just about everything possible.

I've played FF6 since the day it was released in the U.S. (FF3 SNES) and Gogo's identity was never a big item of discussion. There were a few things. How about Relm being the only one Interceptor listens to besides Shadow?

My team is: Fighter*2, White and black mage and I always play getting 100%(doesn't mean I have to keep everything, just that I have collected all items)

Just did a run with 2 red mages, black belt, and thief. It was a little rough but not too bad.

This is dedication and I appreciate as this is my favorite game but this is fan fiction. Also, that storyline is more compelling if shes dead only contributing to Shadow...becoming Shadow. There's a reason why a FF6 reboot FF7 would take over a decade. But entertaining.

I know its kind of a meme on your channel at this point but i too have spent almost 3 decades understanding "Gogo," but i have this funny theory for you. Do you remember how Gogo was said to have "no backstory" in final fantasy 6? Well, do you think its interesting that FF5 actually has a weird connection to 6 that isnt just Gogo but... Gogo's general everything? :D So you find Gogo in the SUNKEN TOWER of Walz and Gogo happens to be at the first floor (so the final floor), which canonically is where Gogo has likely fallen in FF6. When the tower collapses I actually believe the sheer weight of the former empire, the floating continent, and whatever else collapsed into the ground at such force that Kefka's tower IS the Sunken Tower of Walz. The rare loot, the strange level checkers that are technological, Gogo, and also the fact that apparently Gogo has a gold hairpin (Hair ornament in ff5) which does the same thing as in ff6, it halves users magic use. Meaning Gogo actually is in ff6 first, not 5.

probably way too late for a party review but I liked running double thief white mage black mage. early game is slow but 2x ninja plus a full spread of magic after class change was fun. I kinda wanna go back in pixel remaster and see if reaching class change at level 1 is possible since you can adjust the game to give you 0x xp gains and change it at will...part of me thinks this is a bad idea

Hard to top the SNES version for me. The sprites just don’t look right in the remaster

I love that, even in 2022 (now 2024), there are still things to be discussed regarding the story.

Please never use the word localized, back then it was just translators nobody was trying to remove the culture and force foreign culture into it

Awesome is to cancel battle if you have grind enough. The peice could be lower but for that amount of time i have already play finish 1 in under 20, 2 is close for ending in 20 hrs and im sure the other 4 will take minimum the same amount of time and for that the price is fair but yes cheaper is always better.

As some one who grew up in the UseNet era back in the day it's so interesting to see the shift in Woolsey the past few years. Guy was enemy number one on alt.games.final-fantasy and even rec.arts.anime news groups. It's seems like now that all us Final Fantasy fans are turning into old folks and realizing the job that he had on his plate, what he had to do to get things done and provide for his family, we all sort of respect the man for what he was able to accomplish and do. Guy was pushing him self to 1000 for a pay check with next to impossible goals.

She's Panelo. Panelo Arylon. After the events of FF12 she wound up in the world FF1 by way of FF14 shenanigans. She dreamed of being a useful dancer instead of just being happy to be there. Also, time loop. Spoiler. Panelo Arylon remembers everything. The world of FF1 is stuck in a time loop. 😄😄😄JK
