I miss getting the Mario Bros and Zelda comics as a kid. I’ve never been a big comic fan(nothing against them) but I did enjoy those. As well as those Garfield comic books that were rectangular and high gloss pages. Now that I’m on this..was just remembering Mad Magazine and CarTunes lol. Been awhile.
I was always hit or miss with comics, some of them I loved, but I don't know - I would rather let the people who REALLY love them to continue to do so, and I'll just hang out and enjoy the random comic from time to time!
@@TheReturnersHideout I know what you mean, I haven’t looked at a comic in something like 25 years. But I do understand why people enjoy such things. My wife and I are an example..she watches TV series but I can’t get into TV. RPGs are my stories.
In the 8th grade(back in 1992) we had to write a story for class. Basically an adaptation of our favorite TV show or movie etc…I chose Final Fantasy II(FFIV). Wrote the entire game as a story, complete with illustrations here and there to introduce characters and key scenes. My teacher wasn’t familiar with games in general so had asked me about it. He said that game has quite a story.
Maybe they should’ve named Cecil Abel with how much we see Cain trying to kill him😂
😂

Whooda thunk that 8-Bit Theater would end up more faithful to Final Fantasy than an official attempt at a comic book adaptation.
I would like to find all those 8Bit Theatre videos again!
What a fascinating time for the internet in general, but TH-cam specifically! I miss it!

Would love to see it.
