Wow, that is a lot in your second year of knitting, I just started knitting, and I’ve only made a tank top. I need to be have my handheld for a while. I don’t know how you took off like you did, but I would love to be able to do that. Working in our Yarn shop. Im sure you’ve answered this before but how did you learn to knit? I’ve been trying to learn for a very long time but is never settled. I can crochet fine but I just can’t get knitting. I was considering taking a class at my local yard store.

For the blouse with the puff sleeve that collapses, i wonder if you could knit a ‘puff’ to act like a shoulder pad to give the shoulder puff the volume and structure it needs to avoid collapsing…

New knitter here and the same thing happened to me, I block my sweater and it grew 3-4 inches. Glad to hear others are brave enough to throw things in the dryer! 😊 thanks for sharing your beautiful items.

I am completely obsessed with the color of your Port Sweater 😍 I am also unfortunately sensitive to alpaca, though only some times and not others and I'm not sure why! Also that cotton candy sweater is SOOO cute! I lowkey want one in an adult size! I'm definitely with you in wanting to go slower in 2024! But as always, it is such a delightfully colorful visual experience to see all your gorgeous projects from last year!

The elastic might work on the port sweater if you add some at the bottom where you picked up stitches to hold the weight of the sweater and then another piece towards the top to bring the neckline in. I find the round cord elastic (the kind for button loops) to be really great for heavier sweaters

First time I watch one of your videos and I wonder how you can knit sweater with sleeves too short or too long, bodies too short or too long, as top down sweaters are famous for making trying on easier. And you could also know your measurements and use a tape measure. Lot of nice patterns, lot of work anyway, thank you for sharing your expérience.

As always- I live for your speckles lol and I’m so right there with you on the length of my garments. . .i think a goal of mine for this years is to really learn about fit 😪 and not rush finishing. But it’s so tempting!

I definitely love knitting sock with one yarn, I actually have not tried contrasting heel, toe and such yet. I’m knitting my first top down right now. I have knit I’ve a dozen toe up.

The best part about knitting vanilla socks one color from top to bottom is the fact that the entire thing is just ONE strand of yarn. For some reason this blows my mind 😂😂
