BONUS RECIPE FOR HOMEMADE BROWN SUGAR SYRUP:
½ c. packed brown sugar
¼ c. water
Mix in a saucepan on low/medium heat until dissolved! Keeps best in fridge for a few weeks. Add a blob to your favorite milk + coffee combo.

Don't stress about not counting the stitches on your needles as a row......there are debates about that out there in the knitting world. I'm of the camp that says you do not count the stitches on the needles as a row because they haven't really been knitted or "worked".

I thought it was funny too 😂 but apparently it’s up for debate because people do it both ways!! Can’t go wrong I guess 😅

I've had the cart jack thing too. Frustrating when you go back the next update and you still aren't fast enough to get what you want. I gave up. There's too many great yarns out there to worry about it. Your projects are all beautiful. I can't wait to see the new sweater cast on. And I hear you when you say a thousand dollar order. I want all the yarn in all the colors too. My lottery dream is that I win and I go on a yarn shop tour to everywhere I've ever wanted yarn and buy sweater amounts of everything! lol Feel better soon. I've only been knitting for a year or so and I thought the row on the needles didn't count as a row too...oops
You don’t lol. Don’t think of the live stitches as a row, the other girl probably only counted them because she was thinking ahead, like if she was going to knit them then they would obviously now become a completed row so when you’re thinking of like “X more rows” you could count them.
Otherwise, when a pattern says like “continue for 8 more rows” you wouldn’t count the live stitches on your needle after completing the 8th row …. Because then it would give you an extra row.

About voice
When I do my podcast I found Pepsi really helps me to go through with podcast you can try it maybe it would work for you too.

That sweater you finished is written in what language? I can't read it to see if I can do it.
All of the patterns I follow are in English! If it's the Louisiana sweater it should be available on Ravelry in English
Lol but all of the examples you cited for the “not counting the stitches on your needles” end in a bind-off….. so that’s not a “knit/completed row.”….. it’s just the bind-off 😝
The only time the “row” on your needles would potentially count is if you aren’t going to bind it off but are going to “complete it” somehow…. Otherwise # of rows just refers to COMPLETED rows.
So she probably was counting the live stitches (the stitches currently on the needle) for purposes of like thinking ahead to how many more rows she would need *after* knitting that row off the needles.
Yeah, that’s what I mean! When I count as I’m going along to see how many more rows I need to do. But another commenter said different people do it different ways! Learning something new every day!

LOL. I thought my life was ruined too but I've learned it doesn't really matter as long as you're consistent with your counting so. Life un-ruined. Hahaha
