I usually just got for 2 2 piece sets. While the bonus for the 4 piece is usually good... it is also more circumstantial.. and I prefer to play like a dumb brute player.

Unlocking the first substat and seeing that it's not good and recycling is the worst way to level echoes. The reason being you end up recycling so many times that your sunken cost (25% exp and 70% tuner are not refunded) overshadows the amount you are saving by not going to +25. Let's say you are putting together your "starter sets", using the criteria of CR and CD must be present in the end result and the other 3 rolls can be anything. Stopping at +10 (so if first two rolls aren't CR or CD), you need on avg 78 tries, 334125 exp, 1098 tuners Stopping at +25 (continue to roll until requirement cannot be satisfied), you need on avg 7.8 tries, 385020 exp and 288 tuners At UL40, you get on avg 22500 exp and 15 tuner each TF. This means that you need to on avg run TFs 73.2 times to get enough tuners to get your desired outcome, if you stop at +10. Stopping at +25, on avg you need to run TFs 19.2 times to afford enough tuners. In both cases, you are tuner bottle necked and not exp locked. And this coincides with your experience as you were out of tuners. Also, the 1:2 CR to CD ratio is a nonsense. All you need to do is multiply the two stats together and whichever combination gives you higher number is better. This is of course ignoring other stat changes.

Flat ATK is actually pretty strong at least on level 70. I can't tell how good it is at higher levels but it's good at 70 for sure.

I can partially agree to relics but having some relics with proper main stats are quite important at the very least

I just wanted to say…thank you. You are amazing. I just started playing the game a few days ago and went in completely blind. I somehow inherently understood some of the basics of the team building, but I admit I didn’t take skill point usage into account and found myself in trouble a few times. This video was very helpful. I’m going to actually organize my teams with these tips in mind. Your relic video was phenomenal as well. The live sessions really help.

I hate that when I tell people that I like this game, they either assume I am a whale or I am a Weeb. This is TMI, but I am aroace. So I care nothing for attractiveness or Waifu, in fact, I find that incredibly cringe as a part of who I am. I will never understand how people can do that even for human beings. That being said, I absolutely love this game. I think the story is fantastic and I love the characters. I don’t wanna bang them! That’s so weird! Why are my only options to be attracted to the toons, or min/maxing?

I noticed that for glowie monsters, I teleported away to not ruin my pity, but when i teleported back afterward it wasn't glowing anymore. Probably not worth it to hold off on killing those if you care about just getting more echoes in general

My favorite part of the game is the story and I do my best to upgrade the important characters for the story when the story is active or new. Holy cow have I struggled though. 😂 Just this last weekend I made it to 65+ trailblazers level and I’m finally comfortable with all of my different groups. I kind of wish I would have focused on certain characters instead.

i appreciate tbis video because watching character breakdowns everyone just says oh you want this and that but i havent seen anyone really deep dive in explaining stats and the mentality you kinda want to have while rolling relics, you have given me a lot to think about and i feel more confident to actually venture into actually getting some relics done. so thanks!

As a newcomer of hsr, being overall confused on how i want to play the game (and how to properly play the game in general lol) its genuinely helpful to get a little wake up call, just to reflect on what part of the game that i genuinely feel like i have fun with, and aim into that direction properly without trekking too far off course.

I'm VERY new to gatcha games. This is my first and I'm having a blast! I was honestly very worried most of the fun will be where you'd have to spend money, but that hasn't been the case at all which is such a pleasant surprise. I do have a question; Is it possible to invest in most of the characters you have (like a jack of all trades, master of none situation) instead of having to just focus on a few or even one? My thinking is that this will just rely on more time and effort due to the amount of resources you'd only be able to farm so much in a day for example. I find myself being overtly worried of needing a backup (or even a backup backup) character for situations that I'm more weak at or I don't have a particularly insane character for. For context, I just started this month, and am now around levels 60-65, in Penacony and have 20 characters (at the time of this comment).
