Sometimes, I’m just too lazy to debate who’s the strongest between Dan Heng and Jingliu. The answer is obvious. Unless you have skill issues to maintain skill points.

I dont run jingliu with bronya and she's still good. That said, I do agree IL is too good of a unit to say he needs a certain character to work well. He was better almost if not every dps when he first came out
@@keane403 the downtime is more noticeable without bronya for jingliu (ur missing turns just by doing normal attack to get back to enhance state) she’s good but with bronya is more comfortable to play. Same as dhil who before sparkle release doesn’t have skill point issue unless people can’t build a proper team that’s SP friendly
The difference is DHIL is more reliant on Sparkle while JL can work fine with Sparkle/Bronya/Pela/Tingyun/etc. She has more universal use and can work with any buffer/debuffer without any issues, DHIL can’t do that and use 3 sp every single turn. Yes if you put their strongest teams against one another then DHIL does come out on top, but DHIL is replaceable by free Ratio as an Imaginary dps while JL has 0 competitors for Ice dps, she has more value.

Tingyun is literally his staple support and he can use yukong pela ruanmei etc. And It’s not as if hoyo won’t release another 5* ice dps in future so she will fall out soon?? By that logic. JL on the other hand can use manipulation of Spd boosts from other supports like Hanya/Asta and DDD to not exactly replicate what Bronya/Sparkle does, but come close enough to play her very similarly, so Bronya isn't much of a requirement. DHIL doesn't have that same flexibility, no other supports can generate the SP he needs, you will have rough instances of downtime between his damage. My point of Ratio being free obviously is structured around the current game and not the 6-7 months it will take us to reach 3.0 where he will likely be cut off, either that or his next rerun. Of course in the future there will be another Ice dps, but as of right now is there anyone else that can compete with JL? Who's to say the next ice dps is going to powercreep JL? DHIL released long before Ratio did and yet DHIL is still stronger, I don't see how they could power creep JL unless they made an SP neutral dps who doesn't have any downtime and also gives their self massive crit buffs, basically direct power creep like how JL did to YQ. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying DHIL is weak, I'm saying there isn't much of a need for him right now for anyone who doesn't have him due to Ratio being a current free character. What is this tierlist lol? There's no way Ratio isn't S+ at least as an E0 unit. DanIL as an E0 unit is not nearly as strong as ratio. In fact I would argue DanIL isnt worth it unless u have E2. The same goes for black swan. She's ridiculously strong with or without kafka. Those cards are actually what allowed Dot to 0 cycle easily this patch. If u have her E1, she becomes a literal god in a dot teams.

I think Ruan Mei should be the only harmony unit in S+ she’s just so viable with every single character and takes less resources to build and is so easy to play
Danghen IL just need sparkel in team, and maybe tinyun - lynx still help him strong enough. But Jingliu dont have bronya and pela she quite bad, and moreover if jingliu e0s0 she so dumb don like IL e0s0. Many people say Jingliu is the best dps but they forget from 1.4 - 1.6 MOC always have Ice weakness, and IL still not have Sparkle (the best in slot for him) if you dont manage good enough skill point.
