    Thanks to the author for the awesome tutorials! I'm facing one problem, maybe someone can help: After a series of tutorials about inventory, I faced a problem that Overlay State stopped working for aiming animations. Animations are fine, direct connection works fine, but after connecting the inventory system all stops working - еhe character is aiming without animations. I've tried everything I can, and I seem to have missed something obvious. Has anyone encountered the same problem? Thanks!

    Sanırım Unreal Engine 5.4 sürümünde "Body>Set Master Pose Component" yerine "Body>Set Leader PoseComponent" kullanmalıyız. Foksiyonun ismi değiştirilmiş olmalı.

    In the blueprint Set AimOffset, in the node: 'Blend pose by bool', your active value was just 'Wants to aim', I found that if I press middle mouse button and hold aim there would also be a problem, so I added an AND node the other condition is 'Wants to strafe', it gets better but still not perfect. How to fix this?

    Looking forward to your next video!! Is it possible to show how to implement stack size? Basically the player cannot hold more than x amount of item in one slot. Because the inventory uses the item ID as unique keys, I can't have two slots that contain different stacks of the same item

    Funny how all these "easy" tutorial never work. My retargeted anim sequences look right, but in the retargeted anim viewport, the MH character is 1 km tall and all his parts are mixed up in a giant mess. Maybe that's my fault, I'm using 5.4. I would like to same version as used in the tutorial, but it is not mentionned and people asking never get any answer. I don't know if I should continue the tut, I doubt that adding the virtual bones fixe the issue. In the video the anim BP looks ok before this step (at least on the thumbnail)

      I just tried with 5.0, now the metahuman doesn't appear in the project. All folders are created, assets are present on the disk, they just are invisible in Unreal. Every simple step, action is an impossible ordeal. Despite 10 years of learning and practicing, I still don't understand why some people just click and here and create games and earn money, and some other just can't do anything. What a waste of time, I wish this tool never went free because it gave me hope and hope is already too much for me

    It works for me but i also have a bug where my movement is jittering any ideas of why this could be its almost like my player is colliding with the mesh itself?

      found a fix i had to make sure the mesh had no collision in case anyone else ever makes the same mistakes as me

    Omg... Took me so long to figure out why it wasn't working for me. Turns out in DT_Inventory I didn't have the Actor BP assigned since I was using a custom item.

    For those who dont understand 4:22 "we already have a reference for it" I (also a beginner just trying to self learn) created a new local variable inside the ABP, and set its variable type to object reference - which is our Character BP.

    Thanks a lot mate, great tutorial! I got a wierd error where my Inventory slots number as well as the backback slots numbers start at 2 somehow. When i set the max slots to 5 for example i get 7. I can just do 3 if i wanne get 5 and quickly subtract, but its bothering me why i cant find where i missed that part, if you got any idea? ;)

      @@IAmKushTee I ended up asking in the Discord and someone suggested to remove the collision from the item mesh. This worked for me.

    Hi, i'm having an issue, it's everything ok but when i equip the weapon the Transform "Position" variable seems to not work properly, it gets a Location, Rotation and Size (Very big size). Do you have a non-expired discord link for joining and someone could help me please? Thanks!

      Fixed, i don't know what happened. I removed the Map Variable and created it again and it now works... BTW, amazing tut.

      Kinda the same problem for me, i can't see the Child Actor called HandObject spawning. I just see the widget ontop of my char, but nothing in the hand. Checked the Socketname and all code from the tutorial as well.

    Thank you for this! It's been great help much appreciated I'm finding myself with a bones problem that left me wondering what's wrong for 2 days now, maybe you can take a quick look and recognize an easy fix? This is a quick video of the problem using 5.4: (My comments keep been deleted and can't post this link?) Some hand and face bones (just some of them) are not following when playing some locomotion animations (they are floating like in the original pose), in some others they follow exactly (like the bow aiming) but they get soon displaced when going back to normal locomotion states, I'm not sure what's causing this but did also had some skeletal mesh distortion problems when retargetting the full ABP and solved by fixing the animations that had been using the additive poses Any help will be really welcome! Thanks again for your top notch tutorials will keep an eye on you mate
