I'm a photographer just looking into getting a drone. I appreciate the info you present here. Good food for thought. I think the Dji Mini 4 Pro to use for following etc. while going to a photo local and such.

Any experience or info on how it does range wise in a more obstructed area? This seems like best case scenario in terms of line of sight and I’m really interested in how the range is for example in an urban environment. My Mini 3 with rc-n1 will be here tomorrow!

Why do you hold the drone vertical while the motors go through their checks?

Is your Dron got the follow functions ? Recently I got the dji3mini combo flight more but I don’t see this option as per the menu ?

U have limit on 120m? I know i can change but i doesn't want bc im only 13 y old

You can even start from the beginning without the phone if the RC and the drone are already paired, but you will be limited to 50mt distance and 30mt height if i recall correctly (like if you enable payload mode), the same limits should apply in your case with the drone near the RC after unplugging the phone; if over these distances i just know it will start after a X amount of time the RTH, i don't know if you can pause/abort it with the RC or still controlling it. It's all written in the manual to download via QR code on the box together with the app or directly from their website, even the colors of the LED under the drone have particular meanings. Edit: I don't know if i'm wrong but i remember you have some limit on how many times (i mean several times consecutive) you can start without the phone, this is to avoid to use stolen drone without your phone app that can check you are using your DJI account.
