Hey! To be honest I haven’t used an ND filter on any of my drones since my phantom 4. I don’t always think they’re needed. I do think for certain subject they’re always helpful such as boats. Those always tend to get washed out in direct sunlight. What are you hoping to capture?
Hey! That’s a great question - I’m assuming you saw the video was available to view in 4K? I have noticed when uploading my mini se footage to TH-cam it still allows me to categorize it as 4K HD. I’m not sure if this is because it’s above 1080p and that’s all they matters. But I haven’t done anything specifically to the video to enhance it. Just goes to show, 2.7k and 4K are still much more than 1080 and will view very sharp. Enjoy and hope this helps

Whenever I turn on my drone inside the house, the Tetter Mode notification appears and the drone starts moving strangely. Can you help me and tell me what the reason is?
That does sound strange but not totally surprising. The mini 2 se only has two sensors for obstacle avoidance on the bottom designed for landing. I’d make sure those are not covered in anyway and even cleaning them with a little wipe might work. If for some reasons those sensors aren’t able to pick up any of its surroundings then the drone will not be able to stabilize. It’s especially hard for drone in darker settings. Hope this helps!
Are you happy with the SE overall? I bought it yesterday thinking it was the same as the DJI mini 2. I just bought the basic with one battery... judging by these images i think i will be okay with it for a beginner
I have been so happy with my mini 2 se! At first I didn’t think I’d use it much as I have other drones with more features and better quality. But wanted something best for travel. This drone can handle so much for an entry level unit and it’s image/video quality is the same as my original phantom 4 which started at $1,500 at the time. One you get used to the flying you will get more confidence and the shots will keep getting better. Enjoy!
@@sairam724726 super exciting you’re receiving your drone soon! I have two extra batteries that I picked up separately. I also always carry a battery pack that can charge while im mobile and even if that dies it has a small solar charger. Usually 2 batteries is enough flying for me in any given location however. But for those long travel days where you may not have a wall outlet it’s nice to have a few batteries and an ability to charge on hand
Epic video! I visited Italy as well recently and brought my DJI Mini 2. Got some very epic pictures of places, especially the beaches. One thing tho, I heard it is illegal to operate drones in Europe without some kind of Euro drone license…although I really don’t think that kind of license is for small drones under 250 grams. I simply just flew my drone like a normal person (following their drone operating laws like not flying above a certain height, out of my line of sight, etc) and only flew it in places where it isn’t illegal so no one would question me if I had a license (if there really needs to be one for drones under 250g). Did you get the license? If so I would love to do it in the future so I can operate my Mini 2 without worrying in Europe
I basically had the exact same approach as you! I bought the mini 2 se because it’s sub 249 grams hoping I didn’t need the Euro recreational registration/license. I definitely wasn’t bringing my mavic 3 😂👏 If I go back I’m going to do way more research so I could even make apply for a waiver as a licensed pilot. Thanks a lot for watching and sharing your experience!
When arriving in Europe you need to register yourself as a drone operator in the first country you plan to fly. This registration then needs to be fixed to your drone in the form after a qr code. One last thing you will also need third party insurance. To find out where you are allowed to fly in Italy you need to use the maps provided but ENAC on D-flight.
Hey there! Great questions - because of my location within Venice ( I was lucky to have a private villa off one of the canals) it wasn’t required. I did have to stay very close however to make sure not to cross into any restricted spaces where drones aren’t allowed. This is the tourist heavy areas like St Marco square, which there are a lot of - the maps and apps I use pretty clearly showed these locations to avoid. Ultimately it was the hardest place in Italy to fly and the only reason I did was because of the amazing weather. Otherwise it’s almost not worth it in my opinion and the seagulls are terrible! 😂👏
