I hope what I've so far heard and read from foreigners were genuine. Although it's true we're friendly; last time I checked, we were 7th in top 10 friendliest people, we're still a growing country. We try to retain our friendliness and keep the warm, helpful atmosphere as much as possible while learning from others. While currently not yet used to global values, we're trying. We'll be an even greater place for everyone to visit and live some day.
When I submitted the passport image, it auto transferred the names to the form. But the form is showing middle name and given name. Do I follow this process or follow the passport. So confusing, thank you
Tell them that social security is a nationwide pension program. Insurance. Not a handout. Something we all spend decades putting money into every week.
Hi Travis. Applying for an E-Visa but this notif pops app after uploading photo and passport. Should i proceed?

What do you put when you select travel insurance and it says “specify” do you put the company and the policy number?
How is the Healthcare?
Awesome video sir! Thanks so much, from Miami, FL.
Paid propaganda video from the Vietnamese Communist party.
Dam man. Whats your exercise routine?
Great video. Very informative
16 years in Vietnam, off and on. I agree with much of what you say about our privileged expat experience but not sure everything you say about how Vietnam people live is correct. For me, speaking Vietnamese is a game changer. Without it, I think it’s difficult for foreigners to understand what many Vietnamese people experience.
Where is the air conditioner?
america is 3x the size of vietnam?? bro u r way way off, cali alone is bigger than VN

GREAT VIDEO ! i retired early at a finaciall lost 3 years ago and came Vietnam 2 weeks later . all my friends in the states are stilling working who are close to 70 years old . i am so glad i came to Vietnam to live ,
People are freindly & smiling....dude looking like he wants to mug you...😅
Great show buddy !! It takes guts to leave what is familiar to you and start over my congratulations on the journey I always wanted to live out west grew up in Maryland was a police officer for years and retired got remarried and my wife had the same dream so here I am in Wyoming … god bless
I'm from England and love rugby , anyway glad you're on the mend , really appreciate the info as a potential future expat
Better have some serious cash in your account if you want to live in a decent place. Also beware of the women. Many want your money. And if you hook up most women want you to take care of their families.
Lol you're an American who wanna live in Vietnam; meanwhile, many Vietnamese are lining up at the US embassy for a Visa; and just for me, I like China. What a controversial world we're living in 🙄
???
Thanks, bro for the great information I really enjoyed it.
Can u run at the end? Smart? 😂 Add drugs to they drink? Haha another genius idea?😂 Oh may needs duck tape make it easy to restraint her, free tips.😂
A double Quater pounder with cheese, larger fries, and large coke is $13.00 US in Oviedo, Fl.
i'm from Brazil and i feel the same way. Can't wait to go back and never step foot in the US ever again.
I’m a Vietnamese, so happy to hear that u enjoy living in Vietnam, hopefully many more Americans and other people from all over the world to come and live with us. We’re trying to learn English and improve day by day ❤️ Thanks again for the video
U mentioned "nobody is gonna break into ur house to rob u". Lmao how wrong u are. I see everyday people's scooters being stolen left right and center from their house. Thief even goes inside the house when family isnt noticing and steal it within 7 seconds. Geez u must have been living in a very wealthy part of sg or hn. Stop misleading people. Try to live like an avg vnamese for 6 months and you'd want to leave
I forget Is Travis from Chicago So no more crappy Winters!
U feel that way bc u are a foreigner. Lmao. Trust me, vnamese dont feel the same way. Im a born and raised vnamese for 22 years now btw. Geez the moment u mention income, i started giggling. Ofc u live good here. An avg joe in vn struggles af. They earn 30k an hour, im guessing u make 300k, 10x more than them.
I am visiting VN summer 2025. You persuaded me to move to VN and volunteer in an orphanage
Da nang is not really vietnam
hi travis, can you send me the agents that you referred to. i'm moving there next month
I was there last year. shame the street sidewalks are so covered with trash
Interesting video but, my question to you all living out there and saying it is better than the US or Canada; are you all willing to sign a paper that will dissolve the US or Canada of all legal obligations to help you guys if you get into trouble outside of the US or Canada (aka repatriation)?
Travis can you tell me anything about the tennis scene in Danang Beach?
i need new videos from you i'm so bored 😢
The US is the worlds 9th wealthiest country, not the first or even close. The US national debt is currently 30 trillion surpasses the entire worlds combined debt.
Nice video. I live in HCMC and my experiences are similar to yours.
bro's bicep is big af
Can't wait to retire in VN. First time I ever set foot in VN was in the summer of 99. Came back in 2017 and feel more connected there than I do in the US. I guess is because of my roots and seen how much has changed since then. Plus, I won't be alone whenever I return, still got family in VN and my relatives are always happy to see me. As long you stay out of politics, you'll be ok.
If you live in a place where there is not too much pressure on money, then that place is worth living
dont you need keep going to the dentist. if you need braces
Da nang is the toilet of vietnam. So many other better places to go.
Nice content, a real conversation, good work!
Because you were trapped by the communists 😂😂😂
Thanks again!
I think (as you said) that what you describe applies to Northern Vietnam but is definitely not the case in more international southern Vietnam (in particular in Saigon) where it is way more laid back than in the North. Also, I think what he means is US/UK (not western). Many 'western' cultures such as Catholic Italy, Brazil or Spain are way way more conservative/traditional than UK/US 'Anglophere' cultures. Great vid but needs to be much more specific. ''Traditional northern Vietnam dating compared to US/UK modern dating'' would be most accurate.
Thanks for this post! I've been on the hunt for an apartment for over a month.
Does anybody have any idea what he does for a living ? Scentsy comparison to American money he's making his money from america ?
