Hey Travis, I always enjoy your videos. Being Vietnamese myself I’d have to question the statement about Pho not being popular anywhere in Vietnam let alone Da Nang. That’s one of the staples in Vietnam anyways keep up the good work, buddy. Hope you get more traction and more subscribers.
Yes Mark is a great guy. One of my favorite things about living internationally is being able to meet all these people from different parts of the world. And most people willing to live internationally are inherently just interesting people with unique backgrounds.
2 friends having a conversation, great unscripted interview 👍 Hanoi is terrible, I much more enjoy Saigon even tho the air pollution is just as bad but it's more sunny and people are more friendly
Here in Southern Ireland, where we have some of the best air quality in the world according to figures, we have grey skies for months on end. Go figure, eh!!
Well indeed you should not have put your bike in front of your house, should have been inside, it is generally safe but that does not mean you can just leave your asset there, sorry to hear, I lost my nice bike too with the same reason tho, I was naive :(((
Out there motorbikes will get stolen but bicycles is no ( no one wants to stolen bicycles) in London bicycles will get stolen I have lost 2 bicycles in London even l locked them at the metal post some one used the saw and saw my locker I got home insurance policy to insured it but l didn’t claim it I should claim but l don’t bother it
haha I almost cut that part out of the video, completely irrelevant but I thought it was weird. Genuinely nervous about the aliens when I was still half asleep at 4 am
Definitely, sun is strong here. Its not a bad idea to bring some with you. Sunscreen here usually has whitener and the popular brands are pretty expensive because its only sold to tourists. Vietnamese people avoid the sun at all costs and cover up so they don't bother with sun screen
Hey there again, didn’t know where else to ask my man. Do you have any opinion whether we should buy also an onward ticket when going to Vietnam this December for… unknown long time? Do they check for it? Our plan is to wing our trip out and either travel SE Asia after 3 months or just some 5 day out and come back. Do they check anything when you have just one way ticket though? Still counting on that coffee with you on Dec .) ✌️
Not sure if this helps - I’m coming from the U.S. in two weeks to DaNang. I’ve done as much research as I possibly could. Some people have told me that they come to Vietnam with a one - way ticket and never had any issues with immigration. I didn’t wanna chance it so I bought on onward ticket to Bangkok. I might not even go because I’m gonna do a visa run via bus to Cambodia before my 90 day tourist visa expires. My visa is multiple entry so not sure if that helps me at all. The last time I was in Vietnam was 2006 so I’m psyched!
I'm in DN now from the US. I purchased an onward ticket (faux ticket) just to be prepared, but I was not asked for one. It's a requirement from the airline, not immigration.
Travis lost his motorbike in Vietnam someone stolen his motorcycle Someone stolen my 2 bicycles in London Epsom and Chessington I locked them but they shaw my locker
I like interview with foreigner format but this video is a little bit awkward and the topics of the questions are unprepared, i assumed its the first time and you just want to swing it but a little more preparation on the topics is better for next videos. Thanks, looking forward for more interviews
Are you like TH-cam police coming here like you’re in charge and telling him what to do, it’s his channel and his Choice to apply what ever format he feels like applying, so go ahead and find you other vlog with the format you like, it’s just simple as that
No problem, I always appreciate feedback. But ya this is just a casual chat with an old buddy so nothing prepared. That's why I left the little part in where I said we'll just wing it 😂
if you at a restaurant that sells random meats of animals that arent common, chances are you are at a nhau spot. A beer drinking alcohol consuming establishment LOL
Bro, how can you not know cơm tấm and hủ tiếu. Bonkers. Trav you need to get a proper bowl of phở gà down you. Both of your tones are sounding 👌🏽 btw 👏🏽
For real right? That one genuinely shocked me. To be fair, I was in Vietnam probly 2 years before I ever had Cơm Tấm. I think it was in Saigon for rugby tour. I remember thinking "what the fuck this has been here the whole time?" And here I am eating bún chả 3 times a week without trying anything else
I’m considering relocating from Florida in the US to Vietnam soon, Da Nang is top choice at the moment, thanks for the video!
Awesome man, join my travel group. Everything you need in there. www.skool.com/travel-vietnam/about
I like the laid back chat format, keep um coming Travis, thanks
This kind of silent lightning is very common in the summer in south west France.

Cheers for the video.
I've got a one way ticket from Aus to Da Nang next year. Making the big leap and starting the next chapter of my life.
Wicked man, join my group it will be really helpful. And you can message me there if you need anything. www.skool.com/travel-vietnam-6703/about
@TravisTravelsVN Will do, cheers
Wow, that's great. I wish you the best on your new Journey. You should let us know how it goes. 👍
Another good video, thanks again.
G'day Travis,

COM TAM, BANH XEO, BO NE, MI QUANG ARE THE BEST DISHES !

Great, folk.
I'm anxious too get involved in body boarding. Though
I'll likely have to bring a board suitable for a 6'3" rider 🤔

Bruuh, I saw silent lightning in Hanoi too. Just the sky lighting up

Do you have to wear sunscreen over there in the sun? As in do you get burnt quite easily/quickly

I personally haven’t found anyone being checked when buying e-visa online, but I’m one of those who wanna be sure .)
No need for onward ticket. I've been here for years without one 😃 But I promise its not necessary

How has he lived in Vietnam for so long ?
Maybe visa runs or he might have a work visa? Just a thought ….
He's been working the entire, and also recently has a Vietnamese wife so he's here for good.
*strange..... lights.... all I will say... doesnt seem natural*
