Hello to Travis and Loan, Sorry I missed class due to illness. I will be back in February and back to class. Hai Chau is amazing. More Hai Chau video's please.... Aloha, Rene'
Hi Travis, we very much enjoy your videos so keep up the good work. We spent three weeks in Da Nang in June/July and had a great time. We followed your recommendations and stayed in My Khe and ate in some of the great family restaurants in the blocks away from the beach. We were able to see the fireworks, walked around Lady Budda, and travelled up to the Ba Na Hills. Mostly, we just relaxed on the beach and explored the city for new places to eat. We are in our fifties from Australia so relied on Grab as not brave enough to hire a scooter. We are hoping to spend many more winters in Da Nang so will keep watching your videos for more information. My wife's new favourite food is Ban Xao after your recommendation. Next time we want to stay for a few months so looking into the best options there. Peace.
Thanks for the message Peter. I would love to have you join a new group I started. I'm gathering all of my information about VN and you can share anything about your trip there. It's the best way to keep in touch with me and you can ask any questions there. www.skool.com/travel-vietnam-6703/about

Brother, I have ate here twice already. Yesterday and just finished today. They have a few locations. Found the one on Nguyen van thoai just down from TP virtual bank. Awesome thanks!
Cool Travis. If it stops raining today I'm gonna go there. Exactly what I like to eat. I've been eating everyday same Pho place or 2 Ladies Banh Mi for the 2 weeks I've been here. I did have Thai yesterday though. Thanks.

Travis while you’re riding the IR train make sure you’re not slacking off on your calcium intake, keep drinking your milk that you took from the hospital 😂

Applied for eVisa. Got rejected x 2. for passport photo not to their standard. Sent it in just now for the third edited application. Hope I get approved. Went over the application for 1 hour to make sure they were right. I am traveling to Philippines then Seoul then to Da Nang. Any advices will be appreciated.
Did they give an exact reason? Must be white background, head and shoulders, no smile, can not be the same picture as the passport. 2x2 size. Lots of different reasons why they wouldn't accept. I've got a travel group with a full written guide for Visas, also will be helpful for your trip when you eventually get approved. www.skool.com/travel-vietnam/about
I took lessons here and there for the first year after I moved to Vietnam. I met my gf randomly while she was traveling through Hanoi but lived in a different city. We kept in touch for a while and eventually started a relationship
Nope born and raised in Vietnam, never out of the country except when we got stuck at the Laos border one time. She'll take that as a compliment she always thinks she's really bad at English
Your girlfriend's English is extremely good; I rarely meet a Vietnamese person in Vietnam who speaks English that well. It's my first time hearing her speak English, what a shocker.

Nice video ❤❤😊
I found that I like the chaotic cities of Hanoi and Saigon better than Da Nang. Although, Da Nang does have a lot of good things as well
*Canh súp* ! 🥣
*Cơm gà* ! 🐓
Yellow came from turmeric powder that they added in for the color and flavor.

Right now, One US dollar is 24,632 VN Dong.

How are you learning Vietnamese? How did you meet your girlfriend?
I took lessons here and there for the first year after I moved to Vietnam. I met my gf randomly while she was traveling through Hanoi but lived in a different city. We kept in touch for a while and eventually started a relationship
@@TravisTravelsVNThank you🙏🏼
@@TravisTravelsVNAny suggestions what to look for in lessons?
I wonder if your gf is also from the States, because her accent doesn’t sound like native Vietnamese.
