Don't misunderstand this as antisemitism, I am very supportive of Israel and the Jewish people, but not the Jewish 'religion' which is as daft as any other, although less awful than many. 👍
I no longer believe that societies without faith can stand. Look around at our society, it is crumbling into immorality, social depravity and vice a mere 70 years after abandoning faith and virtue.
This thing with the language it is way over past nowadays, it is not English anyone speaks English, the language that rules nowadays as centuries before Greek or Latin was the same, the international language is a trade language brothers! Vlachs are mountain people not particular from the same origin, if you doubt what nationality you are take a DNA test and you will find out!
DNA is heritage but I would not say nation.
Question: "Just as all roads lead to Rome, can we also say that all linguistic connections lead to the Romanian language?" Answer: It's a beautiful and poetic statement! 😊 Indeed, the Romanian language has deep roots in Latin, and many linguistic connections can lead to Romanian, especially when we talk about Latin influences. Romanian is a Romance language, which means it evolved from Latin, just like other Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.). Regarding word etymology and linguistic influences, Romanian serves as a kind of "bridge" between different cultures and languages. Besides its Latin roots, Romanian has absorbed influences from other languages such as Greek, Turkish, Slavic, Hungarian, and others, due to the region's history and cultural diversity. These influences make Romanian a fascinating and complex language. So, in a figurative sense, it can be said that many linguistic connections lead to the Romanian language, and also that Romanian is an important "connection" between different cultures and linguistic developments in Europe. 😊
@@trackingcalin1988 Romanian has a lot of wonderful and useful leads into other languages. But... not all languages.

Dacian language is an ancient language like latin, we used the cyrilic alphabet and had more scythian influences A bit off topic but I believe we had a big dragon wolf or another kind of hybrid animal that was venerated and sacred and was purposely lost and destroyed with the coming of christianity, luckily our grandparents passed on some of these traditions that we still celebrate today
You would be better off under American rule than continue to be ruled buy a su*icidal government that ushers foreign invaders in.
I value my birth citizenship of America, but I do not wish Britain be ruled by America.
Romania exists since 1854. That was the easy part. Some of the difficult parts, you've already outlined in this video. It is somewhat similar to the United Kingdom -- several kingdoms united into a larger entity. In the Romanian case they were usually semi-autonomous principalities, essential part of, and later on vassals to one or the other empire.
Plaid Cymru, SNP and Sinn Fein are classical Socialist. National Socialist.
It is a shame they lost their way.
Everything wrong with the UK can be traced back to Tony Blair.
What if they hid something in the HP Sauce?
Strainii ne numeau "vlahi", "valahi", "olah", "blachi" etc , iar noi ne numeam pe noi înșine "rumâni".
Dorinta romanilor de-a lungul istoriei, refacerea Daciei vechi. Constiinta unirii a razbatut prin veacuri.
Partea superioara a Dunarii era numita "Danubius" , iar cea inferioara "Istru".
The biggest problem is not immigrants but modern European values: European society has become materialistic, hedonistic, hyper-individualistic and fatalistic. A society guided by these beliefs cannot survive, much less progress.
"Moldova" , țara "davelor" (cetăți dacice) de pe malurile râurilor care o brăzdează. Cam asta e etimologia. Nici un slavism.

One thing I really admire about the Welsh of the UK and the Catalonians of Spain is their determination to keep their languages alive.
Sadly the Breton language is almost gone in Brittany as well.
What France has done to Breton is criminal.
Thank you for putting Glyndwr into a wider European context. Setting Wales and the Welsh language in such a context makes it so much more understandable. I like your video on the origins of the Celtic languages too - again, this wider context of hiw populations move about and languages develop and change.

What a beautiful Idea Ben , showing humanity in it's glorious diversity
Thank you.
I agree with your fundamental thesis, though it's less important what color future citizens are than what CULTURE they are. Though mass-immigration (especially from the Islamic Ummah) is a major problem, it is only the "assisted" part of Western Civilization's assisted suicide. The heart of "culture" is "cult," and mass-apostacy from Christian Faith is a void that will be filled. Secularized "Christian nice" has a short shelf life. Also, the "Revolt of the Elites" (title of a prophetic book) traps us, as those controlling the cultural heights are the very ones most intent on destroying the civilization that erected their privileged position.
I hope Christians refind their faith, but that it does not harm we who follow Judiasm. A Christian Europe will be easier on Jews than a Muslim one.
I have a load of questions because we would very much like to move to Wales from US. Any info appreciated: Is homeschooling allowed? How prevalent is racism? Are there delivery options for groceries? Are you taxed heavily on usd income/ is it possible to live there while working remotely for us company? What are the climate predictions? What are the worst pests ( ticks, mice, mosquitos)? What natural disasters are there? Loved the video, thank you! 👍
Home schooling is allowed with permission, paperwork. Groceries are delivered, of course. Racism is part of being human, depends on who you are. Climate predictions? I don't really buy into it. Income... See US UK tax treaty. No real pests... slugs, damp. It is always cold and damp.
@BenLlywelyn Thanks for answering my questions, I really appreciate you taking the time. I disagree on racism being a part of being human. Racism comes from ignorance and oppressive institutions that systemically keep it in place. I also don't understand how one can not recognize the reality of climate change at this point. I did some research and it looks like Wales will see more extreme heat events, heavy rainfall and 10% of land will be under risk of flooding. It's, relatively, a good outlook. Our family already had to relocate due to climate change once. Perhaps being insulated from it thus far has allowed you to ignore it, but for some it is all too real.
I loved it! My grandfather came from a very celtic place in north-center portugal, where Viriathus lived. He used to tell me stories when I was a kid about the celtic past of this territory and some of the heroes that fought against the romans.
Great legacy to have. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for this. Youve:- - Welsh - Breton - Scots-Gaelic But no Irish.
There are so many.
True. In Irish, fire is “Tine”. Which ofcourse is similar to Scots-Gaelic. But similarities too with Welsh and Breton. - Fire in Scots-Gaelic = “Teine” - Fire in Welsh = “Tân” - Fire in Breton = “Tan” - Fire in Cornish = “Tan” - Fire in Manx = “Aile” (But another version in Manx is “Çhenney”, the pronunciation of which is similar to “Tine” in Irish and “Teine” in Scots-Gaelic)
Dacians were first everywhere, never doubt that. Dacians were first in Transylvania, Moldova, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Croatia, Italy, on the Moon and guess what, Elon will find them on Mars too. The truth is out there, I want to believe! Never doubt!
Mars!
Your argument sounds plausible until you open a map. True, with modern aviation, internet, it has shrunk the world, but a Gigantic ocean is a Gigantic ocean so I never see it happening quite like how you describe. More like an Associated territory. Now Western/Northern Canada, Cuba, Panama, and Northern Mexico on the other hand... I would argue Australia is more in danger than the UK. UK literally has nothing the USA needs/wants(Gibraltar, Bermuda, Ascension Island???). Macedonia had things the Romans needed. There is an obvious reason the USA never intervened on behalf of the UK during Falklands even though they easily could have done so and had a mutual defense treaty.
Reagan respected Thatcher.
@@BenLlywelyn Uh no, UK, still had enough Spine, ego from being the worlds DOMINANT superpower to do it themselves and tell their children in the USA; we got this.
I like the way of your thinking. I'm Greek myself by the way. Greetings from Greece!
Thank you, and greetings!
Albanian has some other forms of the word like "zjerm" and "zjarm" which derive from the Proto-Indo-European root *gwherm (warm, hot) with cognates greek thermos and armenian ĵerm. Perhaps Albanian "zjarm" can explain the first element of the ancient Dacian capital city Zarmi-zegethusa.

Modern Croatian and Serbian are 19th century creations in which Štokavian dialect of Dubrovnik and East Herzegovinian were taken as a base for a new standard Croatian and Serbian languages at the expense of other dialects with two purposes, creating Yugoslavia and its new identity for pan-Slavists as well for as for both nationalistic movements to include Štokavian speakers of Bosnia, Dalmatia and Vojvodina into their national movements by adopting Štokavian variant as their own standard. There was here fear on both sides that if only other side adopted Štokavian variant as its standard it could claim that Štokavian belongs only to that particular group. In Serbia language used prior to this was Serboslavic, and was much different than a Štokavian variant which replaced it.
It would be handing getting communication in several countries for the price of 1 language.
