"Our Brian" isn't there but we still can't be let forget that the sun shines out of his @rse!
Mrs Walker was like something out of Downton Abbey
Rita and Elsie Wanna look like sister's they look very similar
If Jack had found Terry's wallet, he would've kept it, without a word.
oh, 'Ilda: I hate to see how she was treated as a character. I do like her and Stan: I think they were part of the backbone for the show.
Errrr isn’t that Richard Hillman lol at 40:00 in
1:07:49 boom microphone popped in!
Ken is such a stiff. And god knows what he saw in Dreary
😂 It does take a lot to eat once own chicken. I so much feel for the three of them. As my bohemian ancestors always told me as refugees here in Germany, never give a chicken a name. 😉
Did Randy ever come back?
Cant stand gail wooden brian ken ivy awful .
Hilda didn’t mention that the two eldest ‘kids’ were taken into care because of Stan’s violence!
Thank you so kindly for uploading these gems❤❤❤❤
Love the way Percy rejects Philis 😂 the bit when she was threatening to throw the plate at Percy was classic 🤣
Hilda's high pitch Scouse accent is like nails on a black board😖 her accent sounds complicate Scouse no way Lancashire
Corona pop in the glass bottles at the kabin used to love that pop off the pop man's truck
Gloria Jackie Corkhill year's later in Brookside
Scouse Hilda looks like something out of the 1930s😅 with the hair curlers
Baldwin's 🥃 50 here And Barlow's daughter Susan is 20 yuck😖😫😩
I watched 'Coronation Street' in college in 1987.I really enjoyed it back then. I'm so grateful to whomever posted these older episodes online.I want to see the episodes from 1988 that I couldn't watch back then.I've seen about 10 minutes from the 2000s and didn't recognize any cast members except Gail.
Len had to pay for his chewing gum, yet Rita didnt for her biscuit
Bet Lynch - what a character
Brian you idiot. Calling your father by his first name. What's that about aye. Why all of a sudden he's just plain old Bert to you. Jeez Brian he's your father. Treat him with love and respect. He's your father not Bert to you he's your dad and you need to grow up Brian and stop calling your dad by his first name. How is it he's just Bert to you Brian. You're not respecting him as your dad. Bert Tilsley ain't going to be around forever you know Brian. In 1984 he'll die your father. And what will you do then aye Brian. Your father is your father Brian he's not and never will be Bert to you Brian. Do you understand Brian. He's your father laddy. Bert deserves to be respected by his own son not treated like that. I'd do anything just to see Trevor again you know. The truck accident took him my father my dad from me. And I would do anything just to see my dad again. Not a day goes by that I miss my dad. That horrible truck accident took his life and him away from me and my mother. And now he'll never get a chance to be Robert and Sarah's grandfather because he's gone he's dead. And the driver of the other vehicle or car was drunk and had alcohol in his system when he hit my father's truck killing him. He died at the scene of the crash. Almost instantly. The driver however just took off after running my father's truck off the road and over the side and down the hill crashing the truck with my dad inside. The other vehicle driver was never found. And if he's not found then I will search for the bastard of that other vehicle that ran my dad's truck off the road that day. I still remember the day when my mother rang me and told me about the truck accident involving my father's truck. Brian Tilsley just doesn't understand how very special a father really is until he's no longer around anymore 😢. I miss my dad so much that there are times when I do need him or my grandfather Don. My Pop died before my dad did. So spending special quality time with your father while he's still alive are special moments in your life. Memories of him you made with your father while he was still alive. But instead of being a loving caring son. Brian is being a total stick in the mud. And I even noticed that Gail ain't liking how Brian keeps calling Bert by his first name. It's disrespectful to your father Brian. I loved my father very much. He was my daddy and I loved him very much and I respected him and loved him more and more. My mother knew that. The memories I have with my dad while he was still alive are with me always. Only I have those special moments in my memories of my father. What Brian also does not understand is you don't when the day comes that your father is no longer around because he's dead. I should know because I often think like that myself.
The writers must put in to all the scripts....Dont forget to talk with your mouth full 😐🤢
Len Fairclough kissing Mavis , nice one! I wasn’t expecting that.
That horrible Derek always took advantage of Mavis. Until the very end.
Love the no Coons door policy @ The Rovers in this era .
so many comments about Jean Alexandra's acting in these sad Hilda losing Stan episodes, she was brilliant throughout Corrie 🙏🏼
Curly used to play with Johnny marr, before the smiths
The Mike Baldwin character is brilliantly acted and written! Johnny Briggs was brilliant and loved by the public, RIP Johnny.
Mike and Alan 😂Watching this pair makes me understand why Roger Daltrey sang "I hope I die before I get old"
Geoffrey Hughes performance here is really good as Eddie Yates. Also loved him in Keeping Up Apeerences great actor
Wish someone would tell High pitch Scouse voice Hilda to shut the F,U,P. Her character is always putting people down all the time a provoking them does she ever take the hair curlers out of her bonce
It should be called Scouser street here Eddie Yates Onslow, Hilda, Len,
Young Deirdre with a baby face she looks so young here in 1979
Renee Roberts death. Alf went on to marry Audrey Gail's mother.
Gail's pregnant with Nick Tilsley.
Alec Gilroy is 52 here he looks about 65😱
Love Betty gritty tough second world war2 generation Reminds of my grandparents ❤
Ken snd and Deirdre Off the scale smugness in the early scene's 😖Cringe☹️
13:39 out-take left in, can hear some bloke in the background laughing his head off 🤣
Gail is saying that her job is just as important as the garage. Whinging and whining that she doesn't have a home of her own and never wanted to live at Ivy's .She was the one who pushed the idea of selling the house she had and going to live with Ivy and Bert, to save the garage. It was her idea!
Anybody else miss Fred Gee? 😢
I'm double tapping forward since great characters Elsie Tanner,Len Fairclough,Eddie Yeats,Bert Tilsley,Stan Ogden,Annie Walker and Albert Tatlock died/left,so it's rubbish now
The writing/acting for Mike Baldwin is brilliant👍🏼 it's the right balance of ruthless with a generous nice side, that's why Johnny Briggs was loved 👌🏼
Hilda Ogden was acting at her finest! I watched an interview with her with Terry Wogan. She is very well spoken and hard to imagine her transforming to Hilda. Brilliant actress and RIP to such a legend.
Ken > Mike
The jury tale Rita was telling in the Kabin wasn’t even funny or interesting did it have a point
I fast forward when Susan Barlow comes on .. couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag ..says her lines with absolutely zero emotion.. terrible ...no wonder she retired from acting in 1990..🥱
Les Dennis used to do a Mavis impression - I don't really know . Everyone said she never uttered the words but they were wrong. 2:37:05.
