It really was a stroke of genius to put Eddie in with the Ogdens. The scenes with those three together were an absolute joy to behold! Thanks again PG for doing this! ;-)
Back in the 1990’s I recall my Nan had about 20 different Coronation Street videos. Judy Finnegan presented every episode which focused on a different well-known character. Some of those videos never got opened & some were viewed only once….but the one featuring The Ogdens and Eddie Yeats was watched by us all that much it must’ve worn-out the actual tape 🤣😂
You don't see characters like this on Coronation Street anymore that brought humor to mix with the drama.... the Coronation Street of today just depressing characters and I try to watch the current episodes but just can't these older ones are the best.
I concur...I try to watch the current one but find myself fast forwarding scenes because they are utter trite and make absolutely no difference to the story line. An hour is too long, it's just drivel.....
@@mikehudson8884 American soap operas are the same way these days and they just keep the same old stale storylines going forever and that's why I started watching British soaps as they were better especially the older episodes especially for Coronation Street.😎👍
Loved Stan Hilda Eddie Bet Fred and Annie Walker in the pub real characters Coronation Street isnt the same without them these days its all doom and gloom!
Another GREAT compilation would be the interaction between Eddie and Ena from the start...If I remember rightly I always thought that was a nice little friendship...Certain scenes with them together were lovely.....

Can't beat coronation street from the 70s and 80s. Great times and humour unlike today's episodes. Thanks for sharing
