July 2024. I'm curious how an artist's work is protected when being displayed in places such as coffee shops? Do the venues carry artwork insurance? Are the artists carrying insurance that protects their work when displayed in public? I ask because I have many times scene damaged paintings hanging on coffee and restaurant walls. This neglect causes the artwork unsellable.

Hello I watched your video and took your advice. A coffee shop may have just agreed to display my mom’s artwork, but they want to meet us in person first (I’m the one that asked). Can you offer any tips to go about this interaction? They say they want to meet us first to show their business to us.

The Restaurant or micro bar scene in a major city sounds like something I might be interested in. What is the medium price range that patrons are typically paying for good art in these places. I need to be in the $1500-$4000 price range for now.

I would love a whole Michael's store in my house, but only the acrylic paint, brushes and canvasses lol. I feel like I'm closer than ive ever been to putting my art out there like I've wanted to and saying i wanted to for...about 20 years. Its the same as someone saying you'll never feel ready, you have to try while you're scared out of your mind. This video is just as good of advice.

Hello, this was helpful to me. I don’t have a lot of artist friends and I haven’t tried going to local shows yet, I’m still working on the portable booth part. I have a TH-cam channel that I just started and a Facebook. Thinking about Pinterest also. Kind of stuck. Trying to come up with enough paintings to go to a show is hard. I haven’t really started making any money off of my paintings or anything I’ve made. Accept for candles. Social media hasn’t really worked for me and neither did Etsy. I have an EBay store though. No one has viewed my art yet. I know it will come but it just feels like it’s taking forever.

Ginny, I'm so glad your videos have started to show up in my feed, and this one really hit home for me. There are other things I want to do and share, I just had a really hard time pulling the pin and doing it. It may be time to pivot, still making art, but also sharing some more of what I would like to do. Thanks so much for making these videos, I think you're great! Keep it up! I don't have a problem with starting. My challenge is to keep going when I don't see any meaningful results. That is the problem. How do you keep going when your motivation has sunk?

why make art for all price brackets, if they cant afford your art then it isn't for them and you are marketing to the wrong target audience why would you chase peanuts just to please somebody else who offers you nothing

Do they not realise how stupid it is to use the art of their users - IE the people who pay them to use their product - to train a bot that will then make that art for them? They are literally working on a bot that will reduce the amount of people using and paying for their product...
